All that brings us neatly to today's subject matter, the work we do here — but, more importantly, the wellspring from which the work itself flows. And that is the St. Michael Chapel and our prayer life.

We begin and end the day, each day, with prayer — specifically, the Rosary and Liturgy of the Hours in the morning and then the Liturgy of the Hours (Vespers) each evening. We also pray the Angelus at noon, as well as the Divine Mercy Chaplet immediately following.

You are, of course, invited to join us for our chapel prayer livestream at 8 a.m. ET as well as vespers at 4:45 p.m. ET each weekday. We are happy to have you add your voices to ours as we all pray for truth and justice in our Church and nation.

Add together all that time and it's about an hour a day, and, without it, (that hour) nothing we do here would have any real significance. Sure, we would probably make television and write stories and all that. But without the spiritual dimension, that's all we would be.

If you've seen our flagship show, The One True Faith (that's the one that got the ball rolling here and immediately ticked off the archdiocese of Detroit, who tried to end us), you'll see at the very beginning of each episode a brief introduction by a splendid and holy priest, Fr. Pablo Straub. Father Pablo, a regular on EWTN while Mother was still alive and on the air, was a dear friend to us here and a real pillar of support during those early days when corrupt churchmen in the archdiocese of Detroit and elsewhere were attacking us.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the heart of our St. Michael's Media/Church Militant media center, where we are currently undergoing significant improvements for the coming year.

In the world of media, change is a virtual constant, and change involves all kinds of moving parts, organizing all sorts of aspects and activities to feed into the greater mission. Even down to the sort of "small stuff" most people don't really think of, like moving desks, rearranging where people sit, reorienting sets (which on its own means moving cameras, lights and backdrops).

It seems we do this about every 6–8 months, and we finished expanding the studio just a little over two years ago.

However, what that all means, and what this all means, is growth. And what growth means is more and more Catholics, as well as people of goodwill who may not be Catholic (at least not yet), are paying increased attention to us and what we do here — what we report.

Church Militant has taken the lead position in the world of Catholic media — authentic Catholic media — something we are both thankful for and blessed with. This has happened because of our straight-up commitment to truth. Put in its simplest terms, you have all come to regard us as trustworthy.

But that's a two-way street. We are committed to bringing you all the information we can in a truthful, straight-up, no-holds-barred way, and we don't care who gets ticked off about it.

Be it bishops or lefties (sometimes one and the same), what matters is the truth. Nothing else.

As the glorious feast of Christmas now descends on the world, we'd like to take this moment to wish all of you a holy, blessed Christmas from all of us here at Church Militant!

Thank you for all your continuing prayers, support and kind expressions over the past year. They are very much appreciated.

As Christmas season 2021 now comes into focus, a few thoughts, if we may:

There is a beautiful Christmas hymn (my personal favorite), "O Come All Ye Faithful," which contains a specific line that sums up Christmas. The specific line is in the third verse: "Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing."

Consider the enormity of that line (and for all the "Church of Nice" types out there, this is why sacred music matters, and not guitar-strumming Christian pop — because it makes you think of God, and not your own feelings).

Anyway, consider the word "Word." The English translation of the Greek "Logos." Saint John speaks of the Logos right off the bat in his Gospel. "In the beginning was the Word [the Logos]."

The ancients understood that all of creation was held together by some force, operated under the influence of some individual reality far greater than just the sum of all creation.

Think, perhaps, of the binding reality that keeps creation in place. Not just the laws of physics, but the law that underlies those laws. What makes the universe exist? And what makes the universe exist in the manner that it exists? — its movements, its operations, its own internal harmony.

Let's give him a hand.

It is now exactly 321 days until the 2022 midterm elections, and while the average American likely isn't thinking about this right now, you should be.

While a week is counted as an eternity in politics, much more 45 weeks (as we stand here today), Biden is crumbling, and the Democrats don't seem to be able to do anything to stop it — or even slow it.

No matter what metric is measured, Biden is being hammered:

• His mental competence — a majority believe he's senile
• His overall job approval — he's underwater
• His economic performance — Jimmy Carter scored better
• Foreign policy performance — just as bad
• He represents "my" views — less than a third
• Country heading in the right direction — about 30%
• His Build Back Better agenda — opposed by huge numbers

Heck, when asked a few days ago what Biden's major foreign policy achievement was in his first year, Jen Psaki was caught totally off guard and couldn't name one. She exited (stage left) pretty fast.

And of course, what's waiting in the wings? Kamala Harris — who scores even lower than Biden.

These power-hungry creeps are in a major bind here.

The likes of Pelosi (and so forth) are so desperate to hold on to their power that they have never really permitted the farming up of their replacements. Unlike the Republican side of the aisle, where there is a veritable stable of young, fresh faces (not only ready to swarm Congress but also destroy establishment Republicanism), the Democrats have no such future contingencies. They're old, worn out and on their way out.

Even their usual voter base is increasingly turning away from them. Blacks and Latinos (especially Latinos) are stampeding away from the Marxist gang. Perhaps that's because it's minorities who have been kept disproportionately poor under 60 years of Democratic policies, and they are finally seeing the light.

Likewise, the nonstop woke idiocy is irritating even a good number of less radical Democrats. Biden sicking the Justice Department on parents who don't want their kids taught they are bad people because they are White or don't want their kids brainwashed into thinking they are the opposite sex — that just doesn't fly.

Trapped in his own web.

Boston's cardinal, Seán O'Malley — America's senior cardinal — is still heading a diocese.

What a waste.

You'll recall that he was brought in by Pope John Paul II in 2003 to fix Boston after The Boston Globe's news ripped across headlines — that homosexual priests had been raping altar boys (and former-cardinal Bernard Law had covered it all up).

Of course, it took about a minute before the entire scope of the horror became clear — that Boston was only the beginning of the evil being revealed. Law quickly got out of Dodge, and O'Malley took over.

So when O'Malley came to Boston, you could say he had a mandate to fix things, to clean things up. Only in the most narrow of senses could one conclude he did.

In a recent interview with an Argentine newspaper, published on Friday, O'Malley waxed on about affairs in the Church, seemingly unaware that he himself has been a major contributor to this state of affairs. Now, understand, before he came to Boston to fix the homopredator problem there, he already had a reputation of being a "fixer" of this same problem in previous assignments (in Fall River, Massachusetts, in 1992 and then again in Palm Springs, Florida, in 2002).

Note both those dates. First, 1992, a full 10 years before the Boston Globe exposé, and then, 2002, just as the Boston news was breaking. In fact, it was precisely because of his behind-the-scenes "handling" of the homopredator sex abuse that John Paul sent him to Boston. This was a man with loads of experience dealing with all this, knowing about it all.

Yet, in the interview with the Argentine reporter, he said the following about sex abuse in the Church: "There is nothing more important in the Church at this time because if we do not solve the problem of sexual abuse and the protection of minors, how are we going to carry out evangelization? People will not trust us."

This is more true than he realizes. People do not trust you — any of the bishops. And frankly, why should they? Trust is earned, even for successors of the Apostles. And when lost, it is quite the fall from grace, and never really recovered from, at least not among faithful Catholics.

Catholic complicity.

When news broke a few months ago that mass graves had been discovered across Canada (of mostly children who had been taken from indigenous tribes in the 18th and 19th centuries), it set off a media firestorm and resulted in the Canadian government promising to pay about $40 billion in damages.

While historical records indicate the practice of taking children was largely orchestrated by the government, various religious groups, including the Catholic Church, were a part of all this.

Catholic complicity in the history of all this has reached all the way to the Vatican and Pope Francis, and, a couple of days ago, Church Militant was interviewed about the topic by RT and host Manila Chan.

The truth needs to be said and lived.

As we begin to creep up on Christmas, let's not forget that the original Christmas (and therefore all future celebrations of it) was all about division.

Division is great because division focuses on truth. It is truth, in fact, that causes division. Division is a result of there being truth in the first place.

Yet the great lie in America, and most especially in the Church, is that division is a bad thing, that we should all be unified. No, we shouldn't. Where does that come from, anyway? Well, ultimately the Devil, of course, but more down on the granular level, who actually believes this and then lives by it?

No one. That's who.

There are two worldviews, and the two can never be reconciled. Never. One worldview admits of the divine. The other rejects it. Any pretended unity in these worldviews is just that — pretended.

And what's fantastic about living in this day and age, in the country and the Church, is this is all becoming blindingly clear. And then, once it's clear, people have to choose sides. And that's a good thing. It's a good thing because the current state of affairs is a net win for evil, for the godless. As long as the division is masked over by a pretended unity, evil gets to advance.

For example, in the political realm, this reality is precisely what is at the core of everything going on in the Republican Party right now. The rank and file are sick and tired (sick to death, in fact) of the lack of fight on the part of party leaders (the establishment) when it comes to confronting the Marxist Democrats. Reasonable people understand that the entire concept of one nation no longer applies. America, as we have understood it, no longer exists.

His Excellency, Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano: Message for the American People

DEAR FRIENDS, for two years now, a global coup has been carried out all over the world, planned for some time by an elite group of conspirators enslaved to the interests of international high finance. This coup was made possible by an emergency pandemic that is based on the premise of a virus that has a mortality rate almost analogous to that of any other seasonal flu virus, on the delegitimization and prohibition of effective treatments, and on the distribution of an experimental gene serum which is obviously ineffective, and which also clearly carries with it the danger of serious and even lethal side effects. We all know how much the mainstream media has contributed to supporting the insane pandemic narrative, the interests that are at stake, and the goals of these groups of power: reducing the world population, making those who survive chronically ill, and imposing forms of control that violate the fundamental rights and natural liberties of citizens. And yet, two years after this grotesque farce started, which has claimed more victims than a war and destroyed the social fabric, national economies, and the very foundations of the rule of law, nothing has changed in the policies of Nations and their response to the so-called pandemic.

Last year, when many still had not yet understood the gravity of the looming threat, I was among the first to denounce this coup, and I was promptly singled out as a conspiracy theorist. Today more and more people are opening their eyes and beginning to understand that the emergency pandemic and the“ecological emergency” are part of a criminal plan hatched by the World Economic Forum, the UN, the WHO, and a galaxy of organizations and foundations that are ideologically characterized as clearly anti-human and – this needs to be said clearly – anti-Christian.

One of the elements that unequivocally confirms the criminal nature of the Great Reset is the perfect synchrony with which all the different Nations are acting, demonstrating the existence of a single script under a single direction. And it is disconcerting to see how the lack of treatment, the deliberately wrong treatments that have been given in order to cause more deaths, the decision to impose lockdowns and masks, the conspiratorial silence about the adverse effects of the so-called “vaccines” that are in fact gene serums, and the continuous repetition of culpable errors have all been possible thanks to the complicity of those who govern and the institutions. Political and religious leaders, representatives of the people, scientists and doctors, journalists and those who work in the media have literally betrayed their people, their laws,their Constitutions, and the most basic ethical principles….

In short, we have subverted the entire moral order that constitutes the indispensable basis of the laws and social life of a people. Already in the fourth century B.C., Plato wrote these things in his last work the Laws and identified the cause of the Athenian political crisis precisely in the breaking of the divine order – the cosmos – between these eternal principles and human laws. These natural moral principles of the Greco-Roman world found their fulfillment in Christianity, which built Western civilization by giving them a supernatural impetus.

Christianity is the strongest defense against injustice, the strongest garrison against the oppression of the powerful over the weak, the violent over the peaceful, and the wicked over the good, because Christian morality makes each of us accountable to God and our neighbor for our actions, both as citizens and as rulers. The Son of God, whose Birth we will celebrate in a few days, became Incarnate in time and in history in order to heal an ancient wound, and to restore by Grace the order broken by disobedience. His social Kingship was the generating principle of the ordo Christianus that for two centuries now has been fiercely fought against by Freemasonry: because the Revolution it promotes is chaos; it is disorder; it is infernal rebellion against the divine order so as to impose Satan’s tyranny. Now, as we see what is happening around us, we understand how mendacious were the promises of progress and freedom made by those who destroyed Christian society, and how deceptive was the prospect of a new Tower of Babel, built not only without regard for God but even in direct opposition to Him.

The infernal challenge of the Enemy is repeated over the centuries unchanged, but it is doomed to inexorable failure. Behind this millennial conspiracy, the adversary is always the same, and the only thing that changes are the particular individuals who cooperate with him.

The Vortex — The 'Religious' Left

As the midterm elections begin to come into focus, there is a very serious topic authentic political conservatives are going to have to address: the so-called religious Left.

First point: They are not religious. That's a masquerade to push communism in a way that appears palatable to poorly educated Christians.

Second point: They need to be called on it at every turn.

Third point: Political conservatives need to start speaking in overtly religious manners to offset the gains the Left has made pretending to be religious.

The soft underbelly of the religious Left needs to be exposed. And frankly, since the entire thing is a facade, its soft underbelly is vastly exploitable. Political conservatives have, for the most part, tended to stay clear of outright religiosity. Stupid move. What needs to be understood is that, as leaders, they need to lead. And yes, that means calling out phony religion when they encounter it.

The landscape looks like this: Be they Catholics or whatever variety of tens of thousands of Protestant denominations, a huge percentage of Christians have been malformed in Christianity — so much so that the argument can be easily made that that single reality is responsible for the mess the country finds itself in.

The crisis of the family, unwed mothers, the child-killing industry, fatherless children (especially boys) — all of these things are owing to an abandonment of Christian morality for the past decades. And they have wreaked havoc, not only on souls and their eternal destiny, but also all the way down to government policy initiatives because a sense of Christian compassion still dictates that something be done for tens of millions of citizens suffering the impact of a de-moralized nation.
