You can be against gay promotion and for “men’s rights” at the same time. I believe both is BS and I don’t want gay allie’s. Im also not their straight ally. I’m also not fond of using the annoying “women’s rights”, “gay rights” or “trans rights” trope and act as if they have any merit.
There’s a distinct difference between gays wanting to redefine marriage and trannies looking for recognition and approval and men being on the hook for a decision someone else made or by default losing custody of their children.

It's the principle of respect for the right to self-determination in general, not just for your own affinity group.

As for the rest, a lot of us relented around the time the Supreme Court made the "gay marriage decision". The "what do you care what people do in the privacy of their own homes?" got to those of us with libertarian streaks.
