Spiritual terrorists.

Wow, what a difference a holiday weekend makes — especially for bad men.

Let's start, shall we, in Rome, with the "shocking" not-shocking news that Pope Francis elevated one of the most homosexual-friendly bishops in the United States, Robert McElroy of San Diego, to the College of Cardinals.

Seriously, a known sodomy-supporting bishop has been put in the position of voting for the next pope. But of course, on that score, he's not the only one (Cupich in Chicago and Tobin in Newark, just to name a few).

Still, there is a certain stench around this particular appointment — and that's saying something when you consider those other two. McElroy, for example, had been informed about Theodore McCarrick before all the news about the ex-cardinal homopredator and, of course, deep-sixed it.

In a 2016 interview with the heterodox Jesuit magazine America, he said, "The destructive attitude of many Catholics to the gay and lesbian community is motivated by a failure to comprehend the totality of the Church's teaching on homosexuality." He says active, unrepentant homosexuals can have Catholic funerals.

Now, back in 2015, during the Synod on the Family, we aired a Vortex episode entitled "Benedict's Fingerprints" that became very controversial — garnering almost 1,000 comments on our website alone.

The gist of that Vortex was, simply put, that to ascribe all the chaos in the Church to Pope Francis was shortsighted and naive, that the problems plaguing the faithful were multidimensional, had been building up for decades and, frankly, should have been expected given the failed manhood of so many, many leaders in the Church.

And what has changed?

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from Baltimore, where our Church Militant "Bishops: Enough Is Enough" rally (at the same location as in 2018) has been given the green light by a momentous ruling in federal court over the city of Baltimore, which was working secretly with the U.S. bishops to prevent it.

Back in 2018, things were a little more subdued with regard to the rally — the same rally that took place under the cloud of the Theodore McCarrick revelations. But three years on, subdued is hardly a fitting word. Back in 2018, the bishops lied once again, saying they would handle the scandals, which is a little difficult to do when you are the scandal.

You'll recall that the bishops' main megaphone in trying to cover it all up for the crooked hierarchy was Donald Wuerl, part of the filthy homosexual mafia that has a death grip on the Church (and has had for decades). Wuerl, speaking on behalf of the corrupt homomafia, said the most fantastical thing anyone could say in response to being caught red handed: Essentially, the bishops will investigate themselves.

If that isn't the most bald-faced assertion in the face of being caught, you'd be hard-pressed to come up with another. So, three years later, just how successful have the bishops been in "investigating themselves"? Based on the turnout of faithful Catholics from all over the country, here to pray for and protest the hierarchy's lies, theft, abuse and cover-up, you'd have to give the bishops, as a body, a failing grade.

Baltimore or bust!

The Church Militant "Bishops: Enough Is Enough" rally next Tuesday in Baltimore is shaping up to be a historic event in the history of the Catholic Church in America. Knowledge of the evil and deceit of so many bishops is finally beginning to come to the conscious minds of faithful Catholics — no thanks to the efforts of that useless bishops' conference.

When we held the first rally back in 2018 in the foul wake of the Theodore McCarrick revelations, the bishops were falling over themselves, insisting on how they "knew nothing," "were greatly troubled over all of it," "were shocked"!

It's odd how hundreds of men knew nothing about the highest-ranking prelate in the United States having secret payouts made for him to victims. Insurance companies knew, attorneys knew, victims knew, seminarians in Rome knew, families of victims knew, chancery officials knew, the media knew — and yet, somehow, not one bishop in that room knew.

Depositions about McCarrick and his infamous beach house on the Jersey Shore were online 10 years before the news exploded — and yet, none of them knew. It's beyond preposterous to think none of them knew anything. The question isn't, Did they know? Heck, 10 years ago, the USCCB was firing off memos to Scranton's bishop, Joseph Bambera, telling him to not let Church Militant talk in his diocese.

Consider that for a second: Back in 2011, when Church Militant was little known, we were on the radar of the bishops, but the most prolific homopredator in the history of the U.S. hierarchy had been sexually abusing young men for decades. And none of them knew a thing?

They knew about little ol' Church Militant but not McCarrick? Right.

The question isn't, Did they know? The question is, Why didn't they act on the knowledge they had? When you get right down to it, that question answers itself. They didn't care about victims as much as they did covering their "miters" — a complete and total betrayal of their roles as spiritual fathers.

And then, of course, there is the other dynamic — that many of the men in that room are gay (some of them active), and the last thing they would want to do is draw any attention to that.

Time is running out.

For years, Church Militant has been telling you how intimately connected the Church is with the world of politics. The convergence of the two is sometimes uncanny, just like Biden and his cheerleaders, the bishops. And every now and then, a scene emerges, a photo that captures all of it in a moment frozen in time.

One, of course, is the photo of phony Catholic Biden yucking it up with communist Cdl. McCarrick and his episcopal pals. Little did anyone realize when that photo was snapped just how intimate the bond between these men was. So close were the two, in fact, that McCarrick was even at the funeral of Biden's son in June 2015.

What has united Biden and McCarrick over the years, however, has been China. Each man has vigorously promoted China, with Biden getting it a "most favored nation" status during his time in the U.S. Senate and McCarrick getting China's horrific crimes against humanity, especially Christian humans, completely ignored.

But as we think on all this and reflect deeper, always remember that the current U.S. hierarchy is largely a result of McCarrick's scheming. While Joseph Bernardin was also a major factor, it was McCarrick who has really shaped the American episcopate, thanks to the much greater number of years he had to work his evil.

They destroy, lie, cheat and steal.

Here in the United States, the Church hierarchy has moved into a new era of taking revenge on good priests who want accountability, transparency and truth. Many bishops over the past decades have been slimy characters, proceeding as they do from the line of Judas, but a new era has appeared with this sordid lot. They are taking open, public revenge on good priests all over the country.

And, given the recent spate of all this, it cannot be a coincidence. It never is with this bunch. For example, Fr. Mark White from the diocese of Richmond in Virginia is being persecuted by Bp. Barry Knestout, who was the secretary to Theodore McCarrick.

Rewriting Church history.

There is a somewhat below-the-radar campaign going on, initiated by Cdl. Blase Cupich of Chicago (an active supporter of all things homosexual in the Church) to rehabilitate the image of his predecessor, Cdl. Joseph Bernardin. To be clear, Bernardin was the prelate who put the homosexual-bishop machine on steroids here in the United States and almost single-handedly helped bring down the Church in America.

But in a massive attempt to rewrite U.S. Church history, Cupich is having diocesan newspapers all over the country publish his propaganda that Bernardin was some kind of hero, an opponent of child sex-abuse who developed a plan to combat it 10 years before the news broke all over America (courtesy of the Boston Globe's Spotlight reporting in 2002).

For Cupich to now try and paint Bernardin as some kind of revolutionary, forethinking genius who was light-years ahead of everyone else is total nonsense. First, the former cardinal and homosexual predator Theodore McCarrick was draped in the same honors as he publicly steered the U.S. hierarchy's official response to the 2002 revelations. Of course, at the exact same time, he was hopping in the sack with vulnerable seminarians — following a long history of homosexual child-abuse on top of his seminarian track record. In other words, a prelate taking the lead on sex abuse means absolutely nothing. In fact, appearing to be a leader in the area is a really good cover.

So with establishing this truth — that appearing to fight sex abuse within the clergy doesn't mean a thing — let's proceed with Cupich's claims about Bernardin.

Bernardin rose to power because John Dearden, the massively heterodox cardinal of Detroit — pro-homosexual, pro–women's ordination, pro–everything opposed to Tradition — raised him by his own hand to become the de facto leader of the U.S. bishops in 1969.
