So one mainstream idea in rapping is that some men are lawless and dangerous and this makes them superior. You can impersonate this man to get traction with a bitch, but don't think you can be him. There are no rappers you've heard of that are going to come to your house and shoot you. But there are fools who will impersonate this man to the point that they use it against you. If you aren't careful then yeah you will get beat up and robbed, because you came across a 'real G' who has no good shit in his brain and saw you as easy. That is not a guy you fuck with, you don't game him in the playful sense you just move past him and bluff right back.

Let it exist in your mind as a test of skill. He wants to throw out the rule book and use violence because he is unskilled. Your skills involve identifying this man and being distant, but not being a coward. You are supposed to know how to fight and how to avoid being in a situation where a gun or a knife gets involved.

Outside of that, if you enjoy hiphop, you aren't worried about the fools like him. You want to go out and dance in the club and play basketball and you want to behave freely. So do those things. Learn how to dance well and learn when to dance simply, practice your basics and build that up as a way to always have a goal for your fun. And budget yourself because nice clothes and shit get expensive.
