@Lionsmane8 Shaming women works. As for betas, they've been around forever - but I get it, thinking that any era was better is wrong - since OnlyFans, Girl Bossing 4EVAR, Instagram chicks and the general puke-pile of modern society is SO great by comparison.

Watched a movie recently called "Corner Office". Maybe I'm just nostalgic for an era/archetype of a woman that doesn't exist anymore, but "Alyssa" in that movie just seemed like one of those. Yes, I know its a character and not a true portrayal of the actress playing her, but man, made me wish I had been born back in the days of Sinatra and the "Rat Pack". The movie isn't a period piece, just part of it reminded me of that era. Anyway, I think its worth a watch.

In summary, in 1947 John B Calhoun built a quarter-acre rat pen, enough to house 5000 rats, (But he only did populations of 150) and provided them with everything they needed. The population boomed, but then it spiraled into decay. Mothers neglected or even ate their babies, dominant males tried to screw everything in sight, crowding out the rest of the males who didn't reproduce. (And a wave of homo mice behaviors emerged) The population subsequently crashed.
Its a hell of an analogy to what is going on now, which is why I found it chilling.
