I am gonna speak a bit about my personal very anecdotal story

In my life, what united me with my true friends, has always been a shared goal.

Not nation state, not religion, not identity... none of that

I am by birth 3/4th indian, 1/4 irish. I am Atheist. My bestest buddy is German, also atheist. A great mentor is Argentine athesit, two other closest buddies are russian atheist and Iraqi Muslim. Two buddies who helped me when i ended up loosing everything is a Turk muslim, and a catholic spaniard. The colleague who has shown to have my back again and again is peruvian quecha. The lawyer who helped me out in the hour of need with his own money is a Filipinno (that is one reason why i am a filippino now )

• Nation states did not unify us. Our respective nations see us as cogs in a gear, and for some of us, were downright backstabbing because system

• Religion did not unify us, most of us are atheists, and religion has always been a set of restrictions upon us

• Traditions / families - we dont have families. See below as well.

What united us is our shared dream of high power rocketry, and electric aircraft propulsion.

I want to be very poignant here, and insist that I am not questioning the conclusion of the OP here, that there is an attempt to break unity. Nation states and their systems, red tapes, and even people (usually italians) with traditions tried to break us [e.g. there had very often been Italians, several times - to be clear - who would come along and say, why are you X [the russian] working with the Indian [me] - come and join our church, that is tradition for christians ... or some variation thereof).

The woke side had not been any friend to us either - they would also try to put us in different boxes using skin deep differences, to enforce in us how different we are.

The purpose of the story is not to impress or convince anyone of anything. This is just to keep an accurate record of [less discussed] forces that unite people, and forces that divide people.

Now why would they be doing that?

The main reason behind this sort of things is to have an in-house index of webpages and their content. That sort of things can easily be petabytes large,albeit it will not be as large just on a single site like this.

The index is what powers a search engine. Facebook might have an, as the saying goes, Ace up it's sleeve to beat google in Long Run, may be by creating a search engine with an integrated AI that is better than google's gemini.

Alternatively, this is also a database they can use for moderating their content and/or running CIA sponsored PsyOps. They know the main resonant themes, they know the weaknesses, and they can infer how to inject slightly different ideas amongst people who share such links.

For example, if Mr X shares a link to Where are all the good men, meta will figure out that he is uh - misogynist. Then may be the next step of the PsyOp would be to find where the weakness is. If Mr X shared a link from this site, where it is shown that an American woman [Woman A] is or undesirable characteristics, then the PsyOP would be to introduce a "recommended" news in his feed where they show a let's say, Indian woman [Woman B] is of desirable characteristics.

Great, now you have weakened Mr X because you found a way to attach him to someone else. Then if you can add some traits [in the trade jargon called Angelic traits] to the woman B, then you can make him accept and my extension influence his friends and neighbors to sympathize with woman B.

Once that step is done, you can then perform various things (usually money laundering) through woman B, and Mr X and his circle will (at least some of them) not only B sympathetic, but will support politicians who construct policies that protect such money laundering activities.
