@drake You're not entirely wrong, just mostly. Lifting should be done so that the individual feels self-confident, looks good to who'm ever they're trying to impress, and feels good about looking good. While your story of some dude shooting a jacked guy is your attempt at invalidating this logic, it ultimately doesn't.

I don't know anything about the story so I'm not even going to presuppose anything about it, but the reason you're telling it seems to be that because the smaller man shot the larger guy it symbolically castrated him, or made the bigger dude seem like less of a man because he got out "forced." If you want to play that game then you'd have to look at all the times a jacked dude hit on another less jacked guys girl and didn't get shot, which I'd suppose is a much higher number that this one random story you know about.
