@bloodexorcist I've read Capital Volume I. It gave me nightmares about surplus value.
@Magnus_Pym Totally agree
Its so boring nowadays how the "communists" are usually democratic socialists.
@Bukharin I'm painting a picture of a typical normie argument. The muh Kulaks joke is a jab at JB Peterson.
I'm mostly annoyed by how people think that someone like Bernie, who's barely even a social democrat, is put alongside Lenin, Stalin, and Trotsky. Then there's the problem of ideological choices: anything left of centrist parties is Communism and anything to the right is Fascism. Then there is some insipid quote about how democracy is a flawed yet important system. The Overton window stays in the same position and the capitalists keep the system going.
it is still important to keep in mind what a shit show socialism has been in the 20th century.
Im not saying communism will never work out. But your last sentence implies that 1) communism was a good system 2) kulaks liquidation was a sound idea. I cant agree with either of it. You sound like a college communist who has never studied Marx and goes on about bashing capitalism in an unsophisticated way
As Bernie looks to be the eventual Democrat frontrunner, Fox News is stepping up its public education about cue sinister music Communism
Why is any critique of capitalism from the left so easily dismissed by normies as "but what do you want instead, Communism?? Communism has never worked! Muh Kulaks!"
@Faramith Stock up on food and supplies, then tell your boss that you're sick while hinting that your Chinese gf might have gotten you sick. Stay at home and ride it out. The hazmat suit meme is definitely funny, but staying away from other people is probably your safest bet.
If you have enough NEET bucks stored up you could quit your job or take a long leave of absence.
