@TheFallenSon There was some feminist article about how scary the movie was because the big bad guy was a weird creepy nerdy guy -- exactly the sort of vengeful, rapist-murderer-hater that feminists live in fear of every day and know in their hearts that every nice guy would be if he could. It was a little too close to home for them.
