How Meditation Develops Frame

Summary: Consistent mindful meditation will develop your frame.



Body:

Google "benefits of meditation", click a few links, and you'll read the same bullshit. We at TRP actively encourage mediation, and not so you can lower your blood pressure or boost your immune system. Mindfulness is the one benefit of meditation that will significantly impact your life. I can best define it as instant clarity.

Mindfulness in Plain English describes the process as such:

(a) mindfulness reminds us of what we are supposed to be doing, (b) it sees things as they really are, and (c) it sees the true nature of all phenomena.

Mindfulness is what reminds you to stop fucking around when procrastinating while browsing TRP. That moment you realize you've been resting too long and it's time for your next set? That's mindfulness, and it happens in an instant. The thought "oh yeah I should be lifting these", occurs immediately after mindfulness. It reminds you that you aren't taking no for an answer when confronting the boss for a raise. Mindfulness is not a thought, it's simply awareness.

Sitting for 20 minutes focusing solely on awareness develops the habit of mindfulness. Everyone has these moments of clarity, but with consistent practice you'll experience them frequently throughout your day. You literally begin observing your thoughts.


Mindfulness and frame:

TRP won't help unless you can apply our principals, and mindfulness will help you. It trains you to be aware of your thought patterns. Mindfulness will remind you of your frame. For example, lets say beta billy naturally reacts defensively when shit tested. With mindfulness he instantly notices his defensiveness and reestablishes his frame. Then he displays alpha body language, cracks a smile, and A&A's that bitch to hell and back. Now he creates tingles just like the internet said he would!

Meditate with awareness, meditate about TRP theory, meditate on your breath, meditate about male/female gender dynamics, meditate on your life goals. Meditate about whatever the fuck you want to be mindful of.

Read this book. Some bullshit article or my own explanation will only leave you unsure if you're doing it correctly. It's a good read and answers all your questions. PDF LINK
