One way is to simply enshrine a 1st amendment equivalent for private companies...that would solve most of the problems. Preferably done through executive order to bypass Congress

There is no playing it smart with this - either you show your power and that corps can be punished with impunity by the gov, or you can suffer the embarassment of fucking Twitter censoring you...any self respecting nation would choose the former rather than the latter.

In fact, Trump would gain more supporters if he didnt care about what the public thinks and smashed Twitter

@Chaddeus_Rex It really is a missed opportunity. He's going to march out a handful of people arrested for toppling statutes in a few months, while the public won't care because that's an old crisis and we're 15 crises into the future.

The time to act was yesterday.

Ok time for some rwce realism (in this case dating realism).

First poast physique and bitches, or pull a jamesskepp and dont but never be taken seriously again.

Next, although the Pareto principle applies to effort and other intangibles I do not think it applies to beauty/SMV. Why? Because it is a scale and does not measure an absolute. With effort increasingly more effort will at first see an exponential increase in result before decreading in the law of diminishing returns. This does not translate well into what is.seen in reality.

If I had to model results based on SMV i'd draw it as a positively skewed distribution where moving further away from the mode decreases the results.

The 80/20 rule is in fact not useful at all, instead serving to discourage guys who see the immense task they must accomplish, can never fathom doing it and then giving up. Instead, viewing it as a small progress to reach the right end of the distribution should be the goal

3y ago  The Summer of Masculinity

@LastRevision

Masculinity lies not in need and not in alpha or beta but rather in Spirit. Masculinity is entirely Spiritual. When a masculine Spirit permeates a man, it begets masculine actions.

I merely said what masculinity is, but I never defined it. So how is it defined then?

Masculinity is measured primairly through martial virtues - that have been remarkably consistent across time and place. Masculinity in the West was first well documented in Classical Greece, with the Romans further expanding on the concept. The Roman Republic and later the Empire was founded on martial virtues. What are the martial virtues you ask? They can be broken down into four broad categories - strength, courage, mastery, honor.

Strength is physical might (hence why lifting is important). Courage is the ability to resist fear and stress and to remain emotionally constant despite what happens. Mastery is competence in a set of skills and honor is esteem of ones peers. Of course there are many more martial virtues, but these are the four main ones that I believe all the others are based upon.

If you want a broad summary of masculinity - a basic Spiritual guide (as ironic as that is) that demonstrates it - Rudyard Kipling's poem "If" demonstrates it well
