I am surprised that there is hardly ever a talk or posts about male friendships. For me, being close with amazing people that I am with is my biggest treasure. Good male friendships are amongst the best thing about this life, how are we not talking more about this? Is it because they go well and don't need a discussion?

@Ika- Does a man need convincing that the world out there is lucky to have him? of course not. The best move is to put in a good week of work before going out. There is nothing that one should be dependent on for their internal state besides what they've chosen to do with their life.

@0xdada I think you are always negotiating respect by the ways you are presenting yourself to the person. I agree that respect could equal attraction, in a sense, you respect someone who has qualities that you find likable or attractive. Though they cannot be threatening your own self-esteem and whatnot

@Redasshole I see what you mean. I agree with everything you said and you don't seem to disagree either or am I missing something? Respect and sex don't have to be part of the same conversation
