@AlphaMale One good reason is if you are saving money to buy a house instead of renting. That is a huge head start financially if you can pull it off. Some guys might have a good enough relationship with their parents that its better to live with them than with "friends" or random assholes. Other than the privacy the standard of living is probably a lot better.
@reiched_up my plan was to be really funny so some guy who has actually prepared keeps me around for entertainment, so far it isn't going great but maybe I'll be the best of the available options!

to kiss a bit of ass I really like the site design I think the fonts on the left can be a bit bigger for my old eyeballs but otherwise everything is really well laid out

@reiched_up I'm no henry kissinger or anything so probably you are better off betting against anything I predict, but I think the trump hail-mary buys us at least another couple of decades, maybe longer depending on whether or not the dems can get their shitshow together, If hillary got elected I would probably been building my bunker already (btw a bunker is a terrible idea, better a good backpack and long-distance hiking/deep-woods camping experience)

If the based eastern european countries can unite somehow and/or russia can figure out how to have a real economy and not just sell oil (don't hold your breath on this one, hasnt happened in their whole history) then maybe the balance can be restored
my worst case scenario is maybe 30 years and unfortunately I might still be alive to see it, optimistically 80ish years give or take 20 which is when demographic shift will drop the average iq below civilization sustainability levels, see hatian dirt cakes and zimbabwe rat farming for a picture of that future
but maybe some technology will pop up that gives smart individuals an advantage over masses of dumb, sort of like how the claymore mine made mass charges obsolete, and civilization will hold together a little while longer
or maybe a nice plague will wipe out a lot of humanity and we can start the cycle over again!
