@destraht True. However, I am sociable and have lots of acquinances. I just don't talk anything deep with these people anymore - I am hoping to one day find some 'alpha double plus'' who I can talk with like Hemholtz Watson. I realized before the book they don't want to talk about tough or challenging things, so I just don't talk with them about it. Just bro out about gym stuff.
@destraht ...as John the savage wanted to. But after reading this book, ive almost accepted (guiltily?) that most of the population is unsavable/doesn't want to be saved? People are only going to turn more and more to these escapes as life becomes easier and easier. IDK what to think about this.
@destraht Yes it was you. Thank you, seriously. Of note, the book made me more aware of how people are using games/drugs/social media/etc as an escape from the difficulties/possibilities of life. They don't care about politics, principles, religion - they just want an easy life of low/no ambition. They dull themselves with this 'soma'. It makes me sad. Before, I wanted to try and save these...
Someone suggested I read 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley - by God was that a good read. Better and more relevant than 1984 IMO. Anyone else read it? Thoughts? For me, it gave me a new perspective on social media, drugs, etc. Further, how the majority of people don't want freedom, don't want to persevere, just to seek 'happiness'. Thoughts from those who have read it?
What are yall thoughts of Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders? Not on how RP he is, but on his personality?
@nr368 I just cannot seem to find any...not trying to sound dickish. I need to move to a tier1 city I think, I will after schooling is done. As for girls, I get complacent with my 6.5-7.5 plates and dont go after any real hotties. Maybe I should drop my current rotation for a new one..?
@replacemenwithalphas00 Maybe my expectations are too high too. I just feel that a really high quality ambitious male friend is missing in my life. Preferably an RP-wise man. I might just need to wait and keep searching.
