@JuengerJuenger Whatever. I will take any info about Germany as accurate in the Internet then.
@dcabrerasa100 That's retarded. Do you think people will spoon-feed you a thirty pages long paper about German life? Do you even know yourself what you'd like to know more about? Do you know what site you're on? Why would people lie on the internet about life in Germany? It's not like this is the Moon or something. Do your own fucking research, then come back with a specific question. This is just impudent
@JuengerJuenger Probably about German life. I cannot confirm if what websites tell me about it is accurate.
@dcabrerasa100 What kind of specific information that you can't find on the internet are you looking for?
Any info on studying in Germany for a year? I am taking a break from studying in college in the US.
@_A_L_3X Nope, sorry. I've been to Munich only once and slept at Burschenschaft Alemannia, they're not worth it.
My knowledge about the frats of Southern Germany is limited. They fence a lot, are very conservative, don't drink beer as quickly as most others and some are easily offended cucks. My advice is this: Are you up for academic fencing? Great, because Munich has pretty much no decent Korporation that is fakultativ-schlagend, meaning you have to learn academic fencing but the amount of real "duels" is up to you. If not you could look for one that is nichtschlagend, but most of them are Christian frats or other cucks. Other than that I'd choose the least conservative frat you could possibly find. Sounds counter-intuitive within TRP? It isn't. Conservative frats are very much up their ass, boring and you won't have a lot of fun unless you like Heil-ing while you clink glasses. Some of them are even under observation by the Verfassungsschutz, namely Danubia in Munich. Be ready to drink beer and large amounts of it. It's part of the experience and you won't do it for a long time anyway. In the end the community, the people within the fraternity you choose are way more important than the Verbindung itself. Make sure they're a bunch of cool guys you get along with and you'll probably have a good time.
Read More@JuengerJuenger Do you have any reccomendations for munich then? I will be studying at the TUM.
@_A_L_3X if you need help choosing one, feel free to hit me up. Not all frats are decent. Besides that make sure to try and join one as soon as you pick up your studies as you definitely need some spare free time.
@JuengerJuenger I will be joining one next year. I already thought of living in a dorm, just to get myself out there.
@_A_L_3X Practice, practice, practice. Germans seem to be rather bad at small talk in general. I think it's part of the culture for people to be more withdrawn when facing strangers than for instance Americans are.
Also if you by chance are attending university, join a decent frat. Your social skills will improve.
