Sorry, @itiswr1tten, son of the director of the movie Se7en.
@LeashedDoggie I'm not in investment/banking but see several red flags with that pitch.
Could someone please explain to me equity investing, and for example how I would profit if I invested in the pitch linked below?

I would appreciate any input. Thank you
@itiswr1tten After reading through bios for most of those, looks like the answer is "it depends" as far as what moves you forward in an org. I guess I was expecting technical background to be a bit more relevant for those positions than it is. Thank you for the link.
@itiswr1tten Sorry. Don't know a ton about it and hard to find good people to ask. Can I assume from what you're saying that you need a different skillset for CTO versus a director of a tech division? I will look those people up.
@itiswr1tten Ok. So if I want to work towards director/CTO positions, what kind of paths should I be looking at?
Is getting an MBA a necessary step if you want to move up the ladder? I'm in software, if that's relevant.
@itiswr1tten Completely agree. Just minimize and avoid your social world to the maximum extent possible at work. Let the ignorant arrogant narcissist stupid fuckers have their dumb little work world. Find your world OUTSIDE of the workplace.
@drake This makes me think you haven't even found the sidebar yet. No, there is no benefit from this, in the long run. And that's the game you should be playing. And no, this isn't how it works in 'Europe'.
@itiswr1tten it's not about fucking someone at work because you can't fuck anyone outside work. My question was if it would help my status by fucking the right person.
In the corporate environment people are fucking each other usually to get something else and got because they are horny. At least this is how it works in Europe.
