How to handle the Francis pontificate.

Various opinions on Pope Francis are being expressed, but only one can be correct. In today's Vortex, Michael breaks down the hard truth about Pope Francis' legitimacy as supreme pontiff.

For those instructing that Michael Voris should have spoken in private with Taylor Marshall, he did. Voris spoke with Marshall — at length — on the theological/obedience/doctrinal errors of the SSPX and the danger of schism and driving/leading people out of the Church because of the current crisis.

Marshall ignored it and has pursued his current public path.

A public error requires a public response.

The gist of that Vortex was, simply put, that to ascribe all the chaos in the Church to Pope Francis was shortsighted and naive, that the problems plaguing the faithful were multidimensional, had been building up for decades and, frankly, should have been expected given the failed manhood of so many, many leaders in the Church.

It's no secret that much of the juice behind the move to the Latin Mass is coming from younger Catholics. Pope Francis has even publicly expressed his puzzlement over it, wondering out loud what would be attracting young people — who had no experience of the Church prior to Vatican II — to begin embracing tradition.

So when he published Traditionis Custodes, essentially slamming traditional-minded Catholics and marginalizing the Latin Mass in what sure looks like an attempt to completely destroy it, young Catholics, in particular, went on the offensive.

Lovin' the gay.

Back in the 1990s when Bill Clinton was in the White House, they used to call him America's first Black president.

It was a reference to his policies, which liberals said were so good for Black Americans that it was like Bill was Black. That was a lie, of course. No Democratic policies are ever good for Blacks. It was all political smoke and mirrors.

However, the terminology works in relation to what going on in Rome right now when it comes to homosexuals. Following the same pattern, Francis is the Church's first gay pope. He is certainly the first pope in history to not only first use the word gay but to throw it around nonstop.

There's something deeply wrong with a religious institution, especially the only one founded by the Son of God, especially this one, to be so welcoming to sodomy. LGBT is all about self-identifying by a perverted sexual act or acts. Period. These acts are immoral, evil and intrinsically disordered. They go against nature; they go against God.

They certainly aren't the only sexual acts or relationships that do, but they seem to be on the papal radar, as well as his advisors', with an eerie frequency.

In fact, he never shuts up about them.

If you tabulated the number of times the pope has talked about fornication, cohabitation, masturbation, pornography, adultery and so forth, all of them combined could not hold a candle to his nonstop yammering on about gay stuff. He is nonstop praising people in the Church pushing for more gay sex. He celebrates them publicly, sends them private letters (which become public), gives them awards, private audiences.

But a very clear mission.

When the Roman Empire finally collapsed, which historians peg as September 4, 476 A.D., that's the day the barbarian king Odoacer deposed the last emperor in the West, Romulus Augustulus.

But imagine for a moment you are of the generation of Romans who saw with your own eyes the literal last day of the Empire. Gone, literally overnight, was all the glory of Rome. On the third day of September, you went to bed and an empire still existed, albeit in tatters. You wake up the next day and it's gone, never to return. A thousand years of Roman domination have just been wiped out.

Imagine the confusion, dread, uncertainty, anxiety and fear that would grip you in this new world order. Fast forward 1,600 years, and here we are again. The barbarians are on the verge of demolishing whatever existed of American greatness, the so-called American empire.

We won't get into the many reasons how we arrived here, except to say it was laziness, indifference and moral suicide. But that's for another Vortex. Today, we need to concentrate on what we do in the face of this uncertain future as Catholics and as baptized non-Catholics.

First, and put simply, baptized non-Catholics need to convert to the One True Faith, the only Church because it is the only one He established.

Teetering on damnation.

If Jorge Bergoglio is laboring under the delusion that popes cannot be damned, he better go back for remedial catechism with some outfit other than the Jesuits. Anyone can be damned, and while it's all the fad in the Church these days to insist that no one really is damned, the Son of God said quite the opposite.

What transpired this past weekend at the Vatican is a grave sin: Pope Francis rolling out the red carpet for one of the most murderous and traitorous Catholics to ever walk the planet, Nancy Pelosi. The pope has committed a grave sin in giving scandal to the entire world by cozying up to her.

The two octogenarians stood there and sat there posing for pictures. And while their 20-minute meeting and picture session were going on, over 1,700 children were butchered in their mother's womb around the world. Every single day, 125,000 children are killed by surgical abortion — approaching 50 million each year.

Yet these two stand there posing and smiling, contributing to the killing. And yes, that means specifically the pope. We all know what Nancy is a power-hungry despot who never met a fetus she wouldn't sacrifice for her own personal gain. In her 34 years in Congress, that diabolically controlled woman has overseen the slaughter of more than 30 million children in the United States, and done whatever she could to advance it around the world.

So with her, we know exactly what we are dealing with. But with Pope Francis, it's another story. He talks the pro-life game but does nothing to help it. In fact, he aids and abets the enemies of life, the architects of the Culture of Death, like this latest sojourn into the bowels of Hell with his own living, breathing political Pachamama.

These two are worshipers of the earth as well as champions of the poor. Well not really, but that's how their press clippings read. In fact, Nancy timed her photo op with the pope to coincide with the asinine global warming summit in Scotland — or whatever stupid name they're calling it now. Global warming, climate change, the existential threat: The only existential threat these two will ever see is the fires of Hell if they don't repent. And again, Nancy's 81 and the pope is 84.
