The Demons Among Us

Demons by Fyodor Dostoevsky is a story about a revolutionary cadre that attempts to wreak havoc on a Russian village as part of their quest to overthrow the traditional order. It features intense psychological descriptions and analysis by Dostoevsky to reveal the deep-seated emotions and feelings that drive revolutionary behavior.

Losing touch with God

You may be sure that all those who cease to understand their people and lose their connection with them, at once, in the same measure, also lose the faith of their fathers, and become either atheists or indifferent.

Revolutionary ideas were sweeping Russia at the time. Dostoevsky himself was caught up in the fervor and served time in prison for his activities. Being spared execution by the Tsar at the last moment served as his spiritual awakening, allowing him to recede from the darkness and become a force of tradition and Orthodoxy.

The modern drive to “progress” can be understood as destroying any sense of faith and order possessed by the preceding generations. It may be hard to believe, but many humans today still retain some logos within them which makes today’s revolutionary movement that much more worrisome, because once the remainder is removed from those who rightly believe that a man is a man and a woman is a woman, and both should have the ability to seek their daily bread, materially and spiritually, what will be left? The horrors of the 20th century will pale in comparison to what we will soon face.

Christianity is not “the tradition of the elders”

Judeochristianity is, and has always been, an ahistorical deception targeting naive American Christians. Unlike Europeans, most 20th-Century Americans knew nothing about Jews or their history, which is why the post-1945 propaganda campaign to convince American Christians that they shared a common faith heritage with Jews rather than a completely antithetical one was mostly successful.

However, Judaism is not, and has never been, the religion of the Old Testament as followed - however haphazardly - by the Biblical 12 Tribes of Israel. In fact, rabbis such as Stephen Wise, the founder of the NAACP and president of the American Jewish Congress when it declared war on Germany in 1933, customarily referred to the Old Testament religion as "Hebrewism" in order to distinguish it from "the tradition of the elders" which began to take shape in 538 BC. This tradition continued to evolve into and beyond Jesus Christ's day, and is specifically referred to in the New Testament, as the followers of Jesus Christ rejected it from the literal beginning of Christianity.

The tradition of the elders was completed in its written form around 475 AD and the oldest extant manuscript dates back to 1342 AD. This tradition is the religion of the Pharisees that is today known as "Judaism" and it has less in common with the religion of the Hebrews of the Old Testament than Mormons and Muslims do with the Greek Orthodox Church.

The Babylonian Talmud comprises the Mishnah and the Babylonian Gemara, the latter representing the culmination of more than 300 years of analysis of the Mishnah in the Talmudic Academies in Babylonia. The foundations of this process of analysis were laid by Abba Arika (175–247), a disciple of Judah ha-Nasi. Tradition ascribes the compilation of the Babylonian Talmud in its present form to two Babylonian sages, Rav Ashi and Ravina II. Rav Ashi was president of the Sura Academy from 375–427. The work begun by Rav Ashi was completed by Ravina, who is traditionally regarded as the final Amoraic expounder. Accordingly, traditionalists argue that Ravina's death in 475 is the latest possible date for the completion of the redaction of the Talmud.

Regardless of what you may happen to think of either religion, the fact is that anyone who claims Christianity is an offshoot of Judaism is hopelessly incorrect and his level of knowledge of the subject does not even rise to that of Wikipedia.

Jews and Christians differ on every single fundamental principle—even on the meaning of core Scriptural texts. More crucially, Christians rely on the Old Testament for legal delineation; whereas Jews rely solely upon our rabbinic tradition. We never, ever turn to our Bible for legal guidance, only to our rabbinic literature. To suggest that our Sages had anything at all in common with the likes of Jerry Falwell, Jimmy Carter or Pat Robertson is a slap in the face of 2500 years of scholarship.

The Prison Notes Of Polish Catholic Stefan Cardinal Wyszynski – Roosh Valizadeh

Stefan Wyszynski was a Catholic bishop in Poland who was imprisoned by the Polish communists after World War 2 for resisting the agenda to destroy the Church and turn Poland into an atheist state. Thanks in part to his efforts, the Catholic Church of Poland actually grew during communism as Poles sought out meaning not provided by the empty materialism of communism. Bishop Wyszynski is seen today as a Polish hero who stood by his faith and his people. A Freedom Within: The Prison Notes of Stefan Cardinal Wyszynski is a memoir of his experience as a prisoner.

Dealing with unjust authority

If a citizen does not demand his rights, he is no longer a citizen. He becomes a slave.

…any form of government, no matter how ruthless, will slowly cool and wane as it runs up against difficulties that the bureaucrat cannot resolve without cooperation from the people. Somehow the people must be taken into account.

It is significant to note how little contemporary men learn from history. Mighty empires fell more quickly as they increased the intensity of their violence.

We can take examples from ancient history: weaker countries often managed to survive longer than states ruling with slavish tyranny. Recent examples could also be cited (Hitler’s state). The ruler seeks peace, and so do the citizens. Let the ruler leave the citizens in peace, and he will achieve peace himself and be able to maintain peacefully all he possesses. The ruler fears revenge against his violence. Police states are violent states. In conditions such as these, only a priest can find a way to defend the citizens.

They proposed that I select a monastery in which to stay, a new mutually acceptable place, to promise not to leave the premises, to abstain from any declarations and statements, to counteract any petitions and manifestations. I declined to answer.

My place is in the cathedrals of Gniezno and Warsaw. I can discuss only that. I cannot cooperate in deliberations newly depriving me of my freedom; that would only make me a voluntary prisoner. The voluntary surrender of freedom is an expression of a citizen’s moral ruin. If today I refused to defend my right to freedom, I would not be able to defend the freedom of my country if the need should arise. Only a free citizen is able to defend his freedom. A citizen oppressed in his own country cannot hope to defend it.

You'll get insurrection!

Happy one-year anniversary of the "greatest threat to democracy ever." Or — not.

But that's how the Marxists on Capitol Hill, with their phony kangaroo-court Jan. 6 committee are portraying it — along with their equally Marxist pals in the media.

Let's be very clear here. What happened one year ago was not an insurrection, an attempt to overthrow the government. If anything, it was an attempt to overthrow the overthrow of the government we all watched happen starting on Election Night. Election Night was the insurrection. Your vote was stolen. Your right to choose who governs you, whom you hand over power to to rule over you — that was what was stolen. "J6," as it is now dubbed, was merely a response to that.

And, for the record, who on God's green earth shows up at the seat of power, ready to violently overthrow a government, armed with flagpoles and cardboard signs?

The only victim of the supposed insurrection was Ashli Babbitt — unarmed Ashli Babbitt — shot dead by a security officer. She was White. He was Black. She was unarmed. He obviously was. Imagine the media explosion if the color of their skin were switched.

She's now dead, and he's walking around free — no charges.

The Marxists even tried desperately to hide his identity — until one of them accidentally slipped it out at a public hearing.

Despite all the media hoopla and bellyaching about "the greatest threat ever to democracy," the vast majority of those charged at all have been charged with misdemeanors, like trespassing. Hardly an insurrection.

Revolution is in the air.

As the new year dawns over the current empire of evil, it's helpful to play out the scenario of "where will we be one year from now?"

All over the world, the empire is cracking down on the peasantry — not because they see an advantage, but precisely because they feel they have to. They aren't pressing their cause, but rather fending off growing opposition to their tyranny. Be it politics or the Church, the evil leaders of the empire are becoming frantic and (here's the point) everyone can sense it.

The point of immediate visible overlap, for example, between the Church and politics, is the COVID tyranny. And when it was announced over New Year's that Washington, D.C., cardinal Wilton Gregory had come down with COVID, it all became so, well, clear.

The cardinal, in his role as champion of evil in the Church (also called Eucharistic sacrilege) was vaccinated, double vaccinated, boosted about 389 times, masked up, socially distanced and a nonstop promoter of all this idiocy.

When a high-profile, pro-COVID Church tyrant comes down with COVID, it simply underscores for the peasants that they are being lied to by those same Churchmen. And this stupid blame game of, "Eww — it's the unvaccinated causing all this because, you know, my vaccine doesn't work unless you get one," is finally blowing up.

Only the elites keep strumming those strings these days. Meanwhile, among the peasants, revolt is brewing. A poll over the New Year weekend said Americans rate 2021 (the first of Biden's unelected reign) as the worst year in memory, giving impetus to the old saying that "you can't fool all the people all the time."

Feeling pretty good this new year.

As we launch into 2022, please allow us to take just a brief moment and express our deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to us at the end of 2021.

Your generosity is truly humbling and, obviously, much appreciated. Our promise to you is that we will do everything we can to be as responsible as we can and spend your money wisely.

That includes who we hire, what we purchase, what we cover and everything that we have to pay for. We have said from day one that this apostolate belongs to you as well as us. We are just the ones who work inside the walls. But it is a work of the Church that is provided for by your generosity and the graces afforded us by your prayers.

So, as we step into 2022, please accept our heartfelt gratitude for how you committed to us at the end of 2021.

Now, turning our guns to the new year, 2022 has the potential to be the year that the Marxist forces in the Church and the culture experience their own "Stalingrad." For those who may not be World War II buffs, Stalingrad was where the Nazi war machine finally got bogged down after sweeping across Europe and enslaving virtually the entire continent. The truth is, the Soviet forces really should not have won that massive battle (they did have tenacity and the will to win on their side).

But, in addition to the Russian winter (something the Nazis greatly discounted), the Soviets decided to draw their line in the sand in Stalingrad. So much a statement did they make that communist leader Joseph Stalin actually renamed the city after himself to inspire his armies to fight harder to defend it.

No silver bullet.

I'm Michael Voris — and yes, we are still moving things around and so forth, prepping for the new year and increased work, not only in actual amount, but also intensity.

We here at Church Militant routinely think in terms of the big picture. And big-picture thinking is actually extremely Catholic. What's the big picture? The big, big picture, after all? Well, salvation or damnation. That's it. All the rest is detail.

But it is precisely in the details where salvation or damnation are locked in for each individual soul. So the details matter — not on their own, but in relation to the big picture. In fact, the big picture is precisely the big picture because it is the sum of all the details.

So what are the details the faithful need to be concerned with? The nexus between the heresy of modernism (which has destroyed the unity and mission of the Catholic Church, among her leaders) and Marxism (which, as Our Lady foretold at Fatima, would spread throughout the earth).

It has taken a little more than a hundred years for the world to reach its current condition.

While Karl Marx and his colleague (Friedrich Engels) committed their poison to paper in the pages of the Communist Manifesto in 1848, Marx was already well on his way to excoriating religion. He understood that, in the world he sought to overthrow, religion served a purpose of soothing the oppressed. That thought is what lay behind his often-quoted line, "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people."

While he expressed why religion was needed to provide some measure of comfort in the current state of affairs, he also railed against it as being a block, a diversion, an illusion, a preventative from sweeping away the old order and establishing a new communist world. As long as people thought about the things of eternity, they would be at least somewhat content and not pour everything of themselves into bringing about what he saw as the much-needed revolution.

In short, belief in Heaven diverts attention from the temporal world. Said differently, since "there is only this life" (and Heaven is an illusion), a person's existence must be focused entirely on this life.

Well, that's certainly how the power-hungry tyrants of the modern day see things — and they act accordingly.

So that's Marxism. For the moment, let's put all that over there on the politics shelf.

There's no doubt about it: The bigger Church Militant gets, the larger the target on our back gets. Of course, the reason for that is because of what we are doing — which is revealing the corruption in the Church and how scoundrels in the Church are cooperating with the corruption in the culture.

And our bombs — truth bombs — are hitting their targets. We are right over them, and we are taking their flak (their anti-aircraft guns, as it were).

We spoke yesterday about being canceled by our regular business insurance carrier as well as our video hosting service. We were also dropped by our regular accounting service. All of those we have replaced, and we are now in an even better place than we were before.

But the larger point is this is how we have to do business in the cancel culture. Living life on the front lines just costs more money, no two ways about it. Church Militant has chosen to go the route of independence, as we said yesterday. That decision is driven by the duty we have to report the truth of current events in the Church and the world — and put them into a Catholic context. If we didn't do that, there'd be no reason to exist.

There already exist a boatload of "professional Catholic" media outfits who keep the full truth from you. Why does the world need another one? Likewise, there are a ton of secular media outlets that have no understanding of the spiritual war playing out and report the day's news without that all-important context.

Here at Church Militant, we do both. That's our commitment to God; Church; and you, our supporters. But traveling along the road less traveled, you pick up a lot of enemies. That's the reason it's less traveled.

Just like EWTN used to when Mother was running the show, you say the truth — the whole truth — and you'd better believe the long knives come out.
