Woujo wrote a great post on mission and journey pleasure. It details people's emotional relationship with comfort and not facing the unknown.

@Noblefiz Give people a little more credit than that for possibility of improvement. Lack of will and initiative are a bigger barrier than lack of ability or potential.

I suppose the modern man really is doomed at this rate. I don't see the majority of these men that are still BP ever being able to transition to a state where they can open their minds and shed the illusions.

@AFTSOV what do you see as a revitalization? I mean, I personally don't see any major new breakthroughs or discoveries coming out. As far as I can tell, everything that needs discovering has been discovered and elaborated on and anything 'new' will always be a rehash of something that's already been said.
