@Apollo MGTOW at those that go ghost do tend to speak a lot about financial independence and simple living.
MGTOW is just a state of life whether temporary or permeant. For self development for that matter some choose MGTOW as to know how to avoid women altogether (monk mode).
Hobbies , finances, DIY are great things that in those subreddits they sometime bring up (not as much as they have bulletins and sidebars to links of those sorts)
But taken into account that for all those, you can't have one group that combines them all. As each of those is built better as a subreddit of it's own.
On TRP we do whine you can look up the memes, or how we criticize another thot or simp celebrity / youtuber / "influencer".
You can ask on the MGTOW forums for help on how to deal with women, job opportunities, how to retire early (That's a thing) It's just we do want to get laid.
MGTOW on the other hand are more rarer in this regard as even in times when MGTOW is the best solution, You can agree most of us won't take it.

@twentycharachterlimi What profession are you looking for? If it's web development I know it's flooded so the competition makes it not worth it at all. And so the jobs there are mainly to fill quotas.
CS has a very large range of jobs from very difficult and high payment (low level programming) to easy jobs and low pay (web). Just focus on your profession and check the market.
@Zavss not I don't do much beyond direct cold approaches due to being busy and want to stay safe.
Those approaches never last for more than a minute and I aim at that even with the extremely low probability it'll work.
Things that happen a lot : She tries to make you linger either by finding a reason. One linger on the phone aimlessly trying to give me her number. Another tried to talk with her friends while they asked me redundant questions : zodiac sign was one of them I think or what's my birthday. I don't hit on girls on group anymore. A lot of the girl do end up being minors and it's better to find out during the initial approach when she's shocked someone approached rather than when she concludes you're attractive and lies about her age.
