@blue_dover See my reply about white people being nervous. From your perspective, white people might as well be chihuahuas. Not because of your presence, but because of our upbringing. There's a lot more social expectations out of us from an early age. Then when they're released into the Real World^TM, they go on autopilot.
@blue_dover there are those who make a blatant effort to stick with their race and it is limiting. I'm saying that most of the time people are creatures of habit and familiarity and that's why white people aren't rushing out the door to get a boosie fade and blacks aren't blasting Duran Duran on their 808s.
@blue_dover not with that attitude. I saw a tall dude with dreads walk around campus with a pink Dora the Explora backpack and matching outfit. He act nonchalant about it and I watched him stop a few girls and game them with reciprocated open interest. Keep in mind white people are mostly nervous. You gotta lead 'em and game 'em.
@blue_dover To be fair, just because a self-proclaimed race-tolerant area exists doesn't mean everyone's going to hustle to line up to be paired like oreos. Who we hang out with is a long-time habit and cultural thing meaning we all have to go out of our way to make interracial happen most of the time.
