@lifeisweirdasfuck This stuff seems to go in cycles. I can definitely remember when you didn't want to be dialing up to meet a woman from a BBS. Communicating online was super dorky until it became exceedingly feminine, and then for studs through Tinder, and then mostly being back to being the female dregs again. The difference was the barrier to entry became very low. It's going to need to go back to being either open and obscure, or with a membership test such as writing an essay, and women simply won't be compatible with anything that is actually good for good men. I think that hot women sincerely dating online is always going to be a short lived phenomenon as we progress through the technological leaps.

How many hot chicks are engaging will also have to do with the level of wealth in an area during each technological leap. For example lets talk Magic the Gathering for a moment. When I was thirteen it was super kick ass and a lot of normal adult men were playing it since nothing like that had happened before. Then about ten years later, those same men might still think that it's cool but they weren't going somewhere to play it and the ones who were still interested were fairly disgusting slobs. By as much as fifteen years later the body odor smells could fill a large room.

So just about 3-4 years ago I was walking by a bar in Cali, Colombia that was rocking out and so I went inside. They were late 20's guys playing games and they all looked normal. There was a very good looking guy playing MTG. He had a 8.5 girlfriend standing diligently by his side. When he cast the one red and X mana fireball at the dragon killing it, she perked up and asked him if he was winning. That just doesn't happen in the US. The difference is that the MTG cards cost a bit more in Colombia and it's somewhat of a rich guys thing that was never saturated with hopeless dorks.

Just about everyone is using Reddit and open web stuff now so that is basically what the larger crowd of people waiting at DMV (department of motor vehicles) looks like. They suck and them being pleased is the standard that we all need to live and die by. I've already proven that Magic the Gathering isn't necessarily dorky because when you're looking good, your girlfriend looks even better and you're having fun then it's suddenly cool (minus the spastic sounds that dorks make once the psychic energy builds up to a threshold).

The problem is the dorks, the dork pandering, and the dork crafting, not the cool guys having fun. Too many people don't have a larger perspective about activities and are associating them with things from their immediate environment (such as a dork invasion). What happens when there are weak dorks everywhere and the women are even worse is that these weak ass people will takeover scenes that could be filled with normal people. MTG and Reddit wouldn't suck so bad if there weren't so many hopeless people. Since we can't magically have a new Internet full of cool people speaking English as a first language then the bar simply has to be raised higher. That is why abusive bullying language needs to be a component of having a higher bar for an open group.

@lifeisweirdasfuck When my mom was in East Bay California I was noticing that on major intersections like getting off of the freeway of most places in the no mans lands between Sacramento and Oakland that I could count 5-7 objectively ugly people for every one non-ugly person. I mean not even attractive because I wasn't counting for that. There was a shit ton of genetic trash from Asia, South America, etc. I mean that there are good looking and normal people in these placesbut it seems that to get into America that you had to be fucking ugly and with a sad sobby victim story. Also so many were very fat, horrific acne that you can see twenty five meters away, etc. I think that the better genetics and habits would find their way a bit up North in Sonoma and Napa County, West in San Francisco, San Rafael, East in Sacramento, Davis, etc. Holy fuck though, in-between was horrid since there were simply better areas nearby in three directions.
