Supervisors: The only one who's liable!
Published 09/04/16 by FreeLiving [0 Comments]

Today I decided to search the internet for employee rights for supervisors. This is what I found:

Nothing! Fucking nothing!

No matter how specific I worded the search, using multiple search engines, the results were always the same; employee's rights against supervisors.

What sparked my interest in pursuing this search is I'm a supervisor. My origins began at the bottom, and with tons of elbow grease and much personal and professional development I've achieved an executive management position. I begin everyday with a smile and and a genuine interest in the employee's welfare and mission accomplishment. I've strive to maintain a positive and productive work environment and never have hunted for recognition or awards. However, their are about 30-40% of my employees that are cancer! They gossip in the shadows and file EEOCs left and right. I've had to maintain meticulous records like the NSA on all the employees only to protect myself from their frivolous complaints. Because the employee isn't required to provide proof of the crime, the supervisor is required to show their innocence; otherwise, you're liable!

I know, if I don't like it then find another job. Trust me, if you're a supervisor this is problematic everywhere and there is no escape. Furthermore, I've maintained this job because I retire in a couple of years which is worth the hardship.

The type of employee I handle:

-Some of them are retired military, either through medical retirement or retired at a Jr. Enlisted pay grade.

-No one is younger than 35 years old.

-All of these employees are Federal Union employees.

-Many of them are overweight with a plethora of disabilities.

-Most of them are women and minorities. Very few white males.

I'm not using this post to describe my difficulties at work only to find out if Supervisors have and redress to these time vampires, or are we just fucked? Let me know.
