Fighting for the Future.

We have to admit that quite frequently here in our day-to-day work, it feels like we're battling Goliath.

The reason it feels that way is because it is that way. Of course, that turned out okay in the end — but only in the end.

There seems to be a certain laxity setting in on the pro-life side of things right now, perhaps even naiveté.

Roe's demise was, of course, massively monumental, and we never want to diminish it. But after 50 years of battle, there seems to be a little complacency taking root now that it's gone.

Roe was not, never, a thing in itself. It was a necessary obstacle that needed to be overcome.

But the real enemy, the philosophy that undergirded Roe, is still very much alive and kicking.

Look at this video from just this past Sunday: There she is, queen of devout Catholics herself, announcing that the forces of darkness are back up off the mat and throwing punches.

Nancy Pelosi passed the first bills since Roe's death to restore abortion as a so-called right across the nation.

It's dead on arrival in the Senate and so will not become law — for now, anyway. But that's only because of one man: Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia.

The Dems are one single Senate vote away from wiping out all that was gained by the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade — one vote.

Right to Life groups have been coopted.

It's certainly no headline that politics is corrupt. It's corrupt precisely because it involves power — and power is easy to abuse.

Fallen human nature inclines to amassing power and its abuse; the privileges that can come with it; the entire package, in fact, of authority, notoriety and so forth that can easily not only be abused but also invite jackals to come along and tempt one to abuse.

Within establishment Republican circles, such a thing had happened way too often with the pro-life movement. Various states have what's considered the official Right to Life organization, which endorses various candidates and policies and so forth.

Nothing wrong with that. However (because there's always a "however"), because the GOP was really the only game in town (forget the commie Democrats), state Right to Life organizations found themselves in bed with the state Republican Party.

Fighting for the future.

Despite the euphoria — deservedly so — over the overturning of Roe, the damage over the past 50 years does not bode well for the future. Think of the cultural devastation as a Category 5 hurricane. Right now, we are in the eye of the storm, a period of relative calm before the back end of the storm comes slamming ashore, and the back end is always more devastating.

During the eye, there is time to clean up from the initial damage and then batten down the hatches and prepare for what's coming. In case you're wondering what we're talking about, here it is: Look at these two polls, one specifically involving Catholics; the other, the population in general.

First, the Catholic polling conducted primarily by Real Clear Politics — the bottom line of the pretty extensive questions is that Catholics as a whole are much more accepting of globalism than the nation at large. And this is demonstrated through a hard look at answers to multiple questions. Fifty-nine percent of Catholics believe the country is on the wrong track, almost 20 points behind the rest of the country at more than 75%.

By a margin of 47–42, Catholics disapproved of the overturning of Roe. But in a slam in the face to Church teaching, 65%–23% acknowledged the Church is opposed to abortion. Translation: While two-thirds of Catholics understand the Church's teaching, nearly half just don't care. That'll end well!

Question after question in all kinds of polls and surveys over the last few months reveal Catholics to oftentimes be the "tip of the spear" on immoral social policies. And when it comes to the youth, faithful Catholic young people are almost nonexistent, as surveys reveal most of them abandon the Faith between the age of 10 and graduating from high school.

That last stat closely mirrors American youth in general. In the second poll we studied, a Rasmussen poll on patriotism and love of country, in every single category, more people under 40 had a negative view of America. They said they were not proud of America and believed the Constitution is rooted in racism and sexism. Talk about playing right into the globalists' hands!

It's what's coming in a few years that we here at Church Militant are warning about. So many of the young, those under 40, have been so brainwashed and mind controlled by schools and the Marxist media, which serve as the mouthpiece for the entire globalist regime, that they have lost all sense of proportion and reality. That is only getting worse by the day, and frequently it's Catholics at the forefront.

Have the Marxists lost the advantage?

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the U.S. Supreme Court in the nation's capital, where the pro-death response to last week's overturning of Roe v. Wade has fizzled into what amounts to a big nothingburger.

There was actually much more outrage on the part of Marxists in the immediate aftermath of the leaked draft last month than there has been in response to the actual decision itself being handed down. There were death threats, the attempted killing of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, pro-life centers bombed and torched, Catholic churches vandalized, Catholic Masses disrupted and so forth.

But compared to what was expected to happen over this past weekend, relatively speaking, very little has happened. Expectations were so dire, in fact, that the Department of Homeland Security issued a formal advisory to Catholic bishops to be on high alert for violent outbursts.

Even out here in front of the Supreme Court itself, the supporters of child-killing have been spectacularly fewer in number than anyone expected. Church Militant has been here each day now this week and it's never been more than a hundred, and that was a one-time peak that we saw.

The Evolutionary Psychology Behind Politics: How Conservatism and Liberalism Evolved Within Humans by Anonymous Conservative

Why do people adopt different political ideologies? How can seemingly equal intellects, presented with the same facts and circumstances disagree so vehemently over how society should be structured? What psychological undercurrents guide people to adopt Conservative or Liberal political beliefs, and where did they come from?

The answer lies in a well known concept in biology, termed r/K Selection Theory. r/K Theory examines how all populations tend to adopt one of two psychologies as a means of adapting their behavior to the presence or absence of environmental resources. The two strategies, termed r and K, each correlate perfectly with the psychologies underlying Liberalism and Conservatism.

One strategy, named the r-strategy, imbues those who are programmed with it to be averse to all peer on peer competition, embrace promiscuity, embrace single parenting, and support early onset sexual activity in youth. Obviously, this mirrors the Liberal philosophy’s aversion to individual Darwinian competitions such as capitalism and self defense with firearms, as well as group competitions such as war. Likewise, Liberalism is tolerant of promiscuity, tolerant of single parenting, and more prone to support early sex education for children and the sexualization of cultural influences. Designed to exploit a plethora of resources, one will often find this r-type strategy embodied within prey species, where predation has lowered the population’s numbers, and thereby increased the resources available to it’s individuals.

The other strategy, termed the K-strategy, imbues those who pursue it with a fierce competitiveness, as well as tendencies towards abstinence until monogamy, two-parent parenting, and delaying sexual activity until later in life. Obviously, this mirrors Conservatism’s acceptance of all sorts of competitive social schemes, from free market capitalism, to war, to individuals owning and carrying private weapons for self defense. Conservatives also tend to favor abstinence until monogamy, two parent parenting with an emphasis upon “family values,” and children being shielded from any sexualized stimuli until later in life. This strategy is found most commonly in species which lack predation, and whose population’s have grown to the point individuals must compete with each other for the limited environmental resources that they are rapidly running out of.

Meticulously substantiated with the latest research in fields from neurobiology to human behavioral ecology, this work offers an unprecedented view into not just what governs our political battles, but why these battles have arisen within our species in the first place. From showing how these two strategies adapt in other more complex species in nature, to examining what genetic and neurostructural mechanisms may produce these divergences between individuals, to showing what this theory indicates our future may hold, this work is the most thorough analysis to date of just why we have two political ideologies, why they will never agree, and why we will tend to become even more partisan in the future.

35 years is a long time.

Nancy Pelosi has been in Congress 35 years and, for a good portion of that time, she has been the "queen" of Capitol Hill, either as House minority leader for the Party of Death or the actual speaker of the U.S. House, as she is now.

During her reign, abortion-related votes have come up multiple times, and never once has she not been a safe vote for child murder. Her latest archbishop in San Francisco, Salvatore Cordileone, has been there for 10 years — which is to say, when he arrived, Nancy had already been on a quarter-century killing spree.

So late last week, he finally issued a decree that the sacrilege of her being given and receiving Holy Communion was going to stop, as canon law 915 makes clear as crystal should happen. So, on this narrow score, good for Abp. Cordileone. And on this narrow score is where the praise stops.

He will, of course, have very nasty things said about him. California's politicians and the Marxist media editorial boards are demanding he now be removed by Pope Francis, yada, yada.

And so do too many bishops.

It's hardly a secret that the Party of Death hates life — hence their much-deserved nickname. And a primary target of their rage against life is aimed at the youngest among us. They are well-documented haters of the pre-born, proven time and time again. But the recent vote in the U.S. Senate to supposedly codify Roe was the icing on the cake.

After 50 years of reigning down death on children in the womb, it appears they are ready to suffer a major blow from the Supreme Court in the upcoming Dobbs decision, likely to be handed down the last week of June. While roughly half the states will place severe restrictions on the child-murdering industry, roughly half will proceed full steam ahead.

And now, woke Democrat child killers in charge of large corporations have promised to actually pay for employees who want to travel to the pro-death states to kill their children. Amazon, Apple, CitiGroup, Bumble dating app, Tesla, Microsoft, Yelp, Levi Strauss, Salesforce, Starbucks, Mastercard and Lyft, to name just some.

In fact, Lyft went so far as to promise to actually pay the legal fees for any of its drivers who get sued in Oklahoma or Texas for driving a woman to an abortuary to kill her child. In those two states, new laws allow anyone involved in the killing of a child to be gone after by private citizens.

Not wanting to miss out on the action, Uber rushed to the microphones to match that promise. As June gets closer, we can expect the list of companies supportive of child murdering to only increase. In their bloodlust, the Democrats have simply lost the ability to recognize, or even respond to, truth.
