But why?

Say what you want about Trump, but he tapped into something in the American male psyche.

This is most easily seen in what is happening with minority voters, particularly Black and Hispanic males. Both of these groups were traditionally solid supporters of Democratic candidates.

But ever since Trump arrived on the political scene, males — both Black and Hispanic — have been migrating to the Trump camp. We saw that trend begin in 2016 and only increase in 2020.

Now, with only about a month to go before the midterms, it looks like the trend is picking up speed. Black women are, hands down, the most reliable voting bloc in the Democrat column. But Black males are not so much of a lock anymore.

Democrats still have the majority of Blacks, including Black men, but Trump has cut noticeably into that lead. The movement of male voters is refashioning the political landscape, as sociologists and politicos review the data and try to figure things out.

What seems to be going on, considering it is minority men moving to Trump, could be as simple as this: Trump represents a form of masculinity not seen in these parts for many years.

Defeat — and then convert.

America is becoming less religious — no news there. It's the continuation of a decades-long decline, but it is now accelerating. But what few have recognized, at least in any formal sense, is that this trend is also present within politically conservative circles. This is a sea change from days gone by when Christians had a dominant influence.

Back in the days of Ronald Reagan, it was the Moral Majority of Jerry Falwell, a largely Protestant presence that drove the agenda on the political right. That was the reality for roughly 20 years, until the era of George Bush in 2000–2008. By the time Bush was done and Obama arrived, what was once a dominant force was already greatly diminished in GOP circles. In short, the conservative political project had lost its specifically Christian character.

It didn't seem that way during the campaign of Donald Trump in 2016, but it was already in full swing — just undetected because of the strong support of Christians for Trump. What we are seeing unfold now is a social conservatism as opposed to a religious one. Trump certainly did not cause this, but probably without consciously realizing it, he tapped right into the "religion indifferent" crowd now becoming dominant in conservative circles.

It's close to over.

The memo has gone out: Abandon Biden. Two years ago, in the heat of the 2020 campaign, "Hidin' Biden" was hailed by the regime (the media and the Party of Death establishment), even as he barely left his basement. He granted almost no press conferences, rarely gave interviews, except the ones that were extremely controlled and choreographed, and did almost no traveling.

Yet, despite all that, the media gushed over him, despite knowing he was mentally declining. He oftentimes had difficulty forming and expressing a coherent thought and was allowed to dodge every important question or issue. Meanwhile, Trump was attacked and vilified on every front as COVID raged (or so we were told), with CNN dutifully keeping track of the dead with their body-count ticker updated every minute.

It was so bad that people were told they couldn't dare risk leaving their homes to vote. They would have to vote by mail or drop boxes all over the place. Other brave citizens could come and collect the ballots and hand them in for them. All that mattered was that you got your ballot in. They'll figure it all out later; trust us. We know how that all played out.

In just five decisive counties — Fulton, Georgia; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Wayne, Michigan; Dane, Wisconsin; and Maricopa, Arizona, the vote counting just stopped. Now, these two years later, we have the FBI raid. We have an affidavit that Merrick Garland's DOJ is refusing to release because he says he's afraid it will have a chilling effect on the people named in it. We have what is surely going to be an indictment of Donald Trump, and it is here that this country must stop and do intense introspection to understand what exactly is going on.

This goes back to Barack Obama. Obama hates America, as does his wife Michelle, which is why she publicly exclaimed she had never been proud of her country until they elected him. Obama set about the process of dismantling America by making long-term changes in military leadership as well as in the intelligence agencies. He did so quietly, unceremoniously, and was able to get away with it because his media would never "out him" like that.

Little by little, he switched out former leaders and replaced them with globalist-minded elites who shared his vision of "America last." These are the very same individuals who labored to spy on Trump's campaign and started the phony Russia-hoax narrative. Their plan, Obama's plan, would have proceeded flawlessly and been completed by Hillary in 2016 — except Trump won!

So once they got over the shock, they set about to destroy his presidency by undermining it at every turn, including the 2020 election itself. Now, with Biden in the Oval Office, they are full steam ahead again, reversing all the Trump reversals of their agenda and putting it back on course. They are somewhat behind schedule, but, for the moment, that's okay from their standpoint.

The Evolutionary Psychology Behind Politics: How Conservatism and Liberalism Evolved Within Humans by Anonymous Conservative

Why do people adopt different political ideologies? How can seemingly equal intellects, presented with the same facts and circumstances disagree so vehemently over how society should be structured? What psychological undercurrents guide people to adopt Conservative or Liberal political beliefs, and where did they come from?

The answer lies in a well known concept in biology, termed r/K Selection Theory. r/K Theory examines how all populations tend to adopt one of two psychologies as a means of adapting their behavior to the presence or absence of environmental resources. The two strategies, termed r and K, each correlate perfectly with the psychologies underlying Liberalism and Conservatism.

One strategy, named the r-strategy, imbues those who are programmed with it to be averse to all peer on peer competition, embrace promiscuity, embrace single parenting, and support early onset sexual activity in youth. Obviously, this mirrors the Liberal philosophy’s aversion to individual Darwinian competitions such as capitalism and self defense with firearms, as well as group competitions such as war. Likewise, Liberalism is tolerant of promiscuity, tolerant of single parenting, and more prone to support early sex education for children and the sexualization of cultural influences. Designed to exploit a plethora of resources, one will often find this r-type strategy embodied within prey species, where predation has lowered the population’s numbers, and thereby increased the resources available to it’s individuals.

The other strategy, termed the K-strategy, imbues those who pursue it with a fierce competitiveness, as well as tendencies towards abstinence until monogamy, two-parent parenting, and delaying sexual activity until later in life. Obviously, this mirrors Conservatism’s acceptance of all sorts of competitive social schemes, from free market capitalism, to war, to individuals owning and carrying private weapons for self defense. Conservatives also tend to favor abstinence until monogamy, two parent parenting with an emphasis upon “family values,” and children being shielded from any sexualized stimuli until later in life. This strategy is found most commonly in species which lack predation, and whose population’s have grown to the point individuals must compete with each other for the limited environmental resources that they are rapidly running out of.

Meticulously substantiated with the latest research in fields from neurobiology to human behavioral ecology, this work offers an unprecedented view into not just what governs our political battles, but why these battles have arisen within our species in the first place. From showing how these two strategies adapt in other more complex species in nature, to examining what genetic and neurostructural mechanisms may produce these divergences between individuals, to showing what this theory indicates our future may hold, this work is the most thorough analysis to date of just why we have two political ideologies, why they will never agree, and why we will tend to become even more partisan in the future.

One is needed in the Church.

It's interesting to listen to the bellyaching of the mainstream media over Donald Trump's outsized influence over the Republican Party. They love the storyline — they're enthralled by it, in fact. And this does happen to be one of the rare times there is a little bit of truth to what they say. Trump does have a massive presence over rank-and-file Republicans — at least mostly, anyway.

However, he has come up with some really weird endorsements in recent weeks that are enough to have some people start talking about "Trumpism" without Trump at the center. In short, he was the catalyst for a movement that may soon outgrow him.

There is a civil war going on within GOP politics, and what used to be considered a two-camp civil war may actually be becoming a three-camp war: the establishment, the Trumpsters and the emerging camp of "more Trump than Trump."

How that all plays out, we will see, but curiously, in their starstruck coverage of the Donald and the GOP bloodbath, they never seem to highlight one salient point that may, in fact, be the salient point: The Republican camp is still capable of actually having internal conflict. The Democrats are not.

That's because every single Democrat who used to be called "moderate" and who can be purged, has been purged. There is no such thing in the Democratic Party anymore as a moderate. They've all been politically murdered.

It's already a bloodbath.

Despite the constant harping by the Left that people need to move on from the 2020 election, an enormous percentage of Americans still believe that the election was either stolen or that we don't know who actually won.

Surveys produce varying results, but about one-third of all voters and two-thirds of Republican voters believe Biden is in the Oval Office because the election was somehow rigged or, at least, badly mismanaged.

And to show how persistent and current that belief is, in the ongoing primaries around the country, it is largely the Republican candidates who espouse this belief who keep winning, as highlighted in this article from last month.

The feeling among rank-and-file Republicans that Democrats stole 2020 is intense, and they are the ones turning out to vote — and doing so in record numbers. And this feeling is finding a concrete reality in multiple ways, which largely explains the success of the movie 2000 Mules, available largely away from the big screens and being intensely viewed at home by millions.

The movie by Dinesh D'Souza outlines a team of investigators exposing the fraudulent election, and polls of people who have watched it, including Democrats, say the flick has increased their conviction and anger.

The 2022 midterms are shaping up to be what experts call a "revenge vote."

Catholic firebrand.

In the rough and tumble of the political world — and it is rough and tumble — lots of fed up people are stepping forward. Among them are patriots and folks concerned about the cultural demise and faithful Catholics and younger folks and, occasionally, a combination of all the above.

Jacky Eubanks is running for a seat in the Michigan state legislature, and, to show the extent and reach of the Trump influence, this young lady running for a not-especially glamorous seat in Michigan's 63rd state house district has his much-coveted endorsement.

In some ways, she's not all that different from loads of other rank-and-file Republican rebels, fed up with, and challenging, the lethargic Republican establishment. And her motivating influence is the steal of 2020.

In fact, Jacky actually went door to door in her home area canvassing, asking individual residents if they did, in fact, vote. She collected enormous piles of data and has concluded, from her admittedly unscientific — yet exhaustive — research, that Michigan was, in fact, a hotbed of cheating.

Civil war, GOP style.

The assault against the RINO leadership of the GOP is now on full display as the primaries move into high gear. There are quite a few dynamics at play here, but the 60,000-foot view is pretty simple. Rank and file Republicans feel betrayed by their leaders, and, frankly, they feel that way because they have been betrayed.

It's extremely similar to what's going on in the Church. The parallels, in fact, are almost eerie. Catholics who actually believe the Faith feel betrayed by leaders who obviously no longer do. And while Catholic laity obviously can't vote bishops out of office, they can militate against them, expose their infidelity, make life generally annoying for them — all in the hopes of unmasking their wickedness so lukewarm Catholics wake up, realize they've been deceived and then actually learn the Faith.

Over in the GOP, it's a little more direct line of attack. In fact, it's all-out war. All across the country, RINO killers are running for office, with establishment types in their sights. Down on county levels, even precinct levels, the shock troops are gathering and drawing up their plans. At a recent GOP meeting in Macomb County, Michigan, it was all the revolutionaries, not a RINO in sight.

All the energy, in fact, is on the antiestablishment side, fueled almost entirely by the question of election integrity — and the reality that, when the chips were down, in the face of the 2020 steal, the leaders refused to do their jobs.

All across the battleground states, GOP establishment types betrayed their constituents, refusing to hear the pleas of regular voters. They were told to actually believe Joe Biden got 81 million votes. They were told to believe that all the evidence, sworn testimony from thousands of eyewitnesses, huge discrepancies in voting patterns, statistical anomalies in every key area in the country — all of that was wrong and meant nothing. It wasn't even worth exploring and should never be questioned.
