On Election Day 2016, my father, Russ, was all raring to go. He had told me the night before that he wanted to be first in line to vote against communist Hillary and her anti-God politics.

My dad — God rest his soul — was a military veteran, a patriot, a stalwart Catholic who knew both his Church and country were slipping away. Mission creep is what he was talking about. That's when an outfit, a country, a business, a Church gets off course and starts creeping away little by little from its original mission by adopting other goals and so forth.

Of course, every outfit has to adapt to new circumstances and correctly understand how they might or might not dictate a change in how the mission is carried out, but the mission itself cannot change, lest you lose your identity.

Dominion Voting Systems is certainly making a lot of news these days, understandably. The question that arises is not if electronic voting systems like Dominion are subject to hacking and switching votes and so forth, but if it can all be proven in a court of law in enough time to show that it did happen.

The question of "if" is already answered. The state of Texas out and out rejected Dominion precisely because it was not secure. Likewise, Democratic senators (including Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren) wrote a letter in 2019 raising the same concerns.

Should we be concerned about all this? Is it possible? Before the election, NBC News and PBS each did segments on computer hacking and election integrity, raising the very same concerns. So "yes" is the answer to the very first question.

At this moment, we still do not know which man will be taking the oath of office on Jan. 20 because of multiple lawsuits, recounts and audits — not to mention reported attempts at straight-up voter fraud through voting software and machines.

Regardless of what the Marxist media tell you and what the U.S. bishops say, it ain't over until it's over. But however it turns out, what need to be clearly understood (from a Catholic point of view) moving forward are two important points.

The first is that Trump completely remade the rank and file of the Republican Party, inverting American politics so what used to be seen as an elitist party of the rich is now the party of the middle class and working man — in short, the "little guy."

All the cheats and liars are issuing calls for unity and peace now that they appear to have the upper hand.

On the political scene, it was fake-Catholic Joe Biden's primary point in his speech to the nation on Saturday night. Meanwhile, those who do and will control him — like Occasional Cortex as just one example — are saying things like lists need to be created of Trump supporters so they can be shut out of society once the Marxists assume power.

And yes, that's exactly what she said: Keep a database of Trump supporters to ensure they don't get hired later on. She also took to Twitter saying, "Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future?"

Time to wake up.

As we stand here today, we still don't know how things are going to play out in the White House race as well as in the U.S. Senate, but in the current circumstances, you'd rather be in Joe Biden's shoes than the president's.

Church Militant is working aggressively behind the scenes on all the issues surrounding these races and bringing you the latest (as well as most trustworthy) information and analysis available.

In the meantime, we need to deal with the reality we are in. Even if a few million votes have been included in the counts that are fraudulent — and that's still a big if, that number — America still shifted toward embracing socialism.

Remember, it doesn't take millions and millions of illegal or fraudulent votes to swing an election. It only takes 10,000 or so, here or there (more than that in a handful of big states like Pennsylvania), to swing an election.
