Crypto question: Is there a site that tracks altcoins and the exchanges they're scheduled to be released on? Example: STX was recently made available on Korean exchanges. Prior to being available in Korea, it was ~1.20.... jumped to over 2.50 at one point the day it became available. May be an angle worth pursuing.
@neo_ Stacks (STK) more recent stacking round listed a 25% APY payable in Bitcoin (on OKCoin). Another round starts in 2 days but only 10% this time. Etoro wants assets in place for 7-9 days before rewards start earning. No doubt there's a profit with staking which surpasses banking interest rates.
@Guy Yea, Cardano available on Coinbase didn't impact the price since it was already available on other US exchanges. Altcoins introduced to an entire economy (in this case, Korea) made for a nice bump. Like you said, it may take a deep dive into individual communities to find the potential. Comparing list of coins available on Korean exchanges vs US exchanges may limit the search field but there has to be a better way lol
@Guy Speaking of India, I was just looking at WRX.. the utility token for WazirX (India's cryptocurrency exchange). Perhaps if the ban doesn't go through, both BTC & WRX pop... if the ban does go through, it'll pop when the ban is rescinded.
There has to be some merit to coins being available to another countries and getting in before the pop. hmmm... still investigating.
No they'll force you into a bank backed crypto.
This is what I'm expecting. Probably a stablecoin so profit is still controlled by market makers. Enjoy the crypto bonanza until that point and perhaps the market is super-saturated with alt-coins preventing a total crypto shutdown.
@arakouzo Great opportunity to watch how the market plays out. An immediate window of 24 hours (maybe less) to maximize short term gains. Long term, crypto should continue to grow over the next decade, but worth identifying these plays.
