@redpillschool Their ideology is just too easy to troll.
You can already tell how this will go
@BTrack Python seems cool but it doesn't seem valuable for me to learn from PHP. I've heavily considered fastify for Node.js on server. What turns me off to Node.js server is needing to learn whole other stacks for monitoring and managing many Node.js instances since it is just terrible when hit with an expensive operation. Python and PHP have this figured out through FastCGI for a bazillion years now. Golang however can easily do concurrency for expensive operations. I guess that Rust would do it even better with shit tons of work but its too immature for that use case. I love my Webpack + Vue for front end though and I'm not looking to change that at all.
@destraht I tend to just use Python for most of my projects. It's not the most efficient language, but it gets the job done.
I'm not a big fan of the "javascript everything" mentality web development has taken in recent years
@Crownofstars I've only read the blurb and the couple of free pages you get on Amazon, so I can't do a full review as of yet.
But from what I have read, it seems that moralizing plays a large role in the arguments set out within the book.
@jwayne The problem there though is you end up with all the baggage that comes with that.
If they're from a religious family, then they want you to be religious as well. If they're from a certain culture then they expect you to follow the rules of their culture.
And the biggest problem - the girl won't fuck you until you're married.
