My wife and I had tried IPvanish for the past year.

We don't like it. We cancelled it today, since our subscription was fixing to renew.

Part of the whole point of a VPN (or at least so I thought) is that no one is supposed to know that you're behind a VPN.

Just about any site we went to would block our access and tell us to turn off our VPN to gain access to the site.

What VPNs do you all use and recommend? How much are they? What are the pros and cons?

Should we even fucking bother with one?

@redpillschool Mullvad VPN is the best one. Basically they don't know anything about you. You sign up by getting a unique ID whichs serves both as a username and a password. You can pay anonymously too.

They offer openvpn and wireguard servers.

Damn, I created this tribe to write some stuff but I haven't been able to get a working laptop (I'm away from my main apartment).

On the other hand, this tribe has only 9 people...

@redpillschool I like ExpressVPN for the simplicity. NordVPN had issues with security last year, but they may be fixed up by now.
