@houseoftolstoy yeah im not touching that shit any time soon
I have done a professional personality test when i was in the psych ward, the analysis of which only said I am unsatisfied with myself, my life, depressed, and have low self esteem. I assume if I had something of the sort, that's where it would've come up

@sleepyhousewife There's a painting for sale for 170k dollars that is just a red canvas, a painting of a dog that looks like it's been drawn in crayon by a 3 year-old, for 2.2 million and a piece of chalkboard with some chalk scribbles on it for 70 million. Today's art is sad and pathetic.

@TiberiusBravo87 Don't pay them any mind. You want to be healthy and fit, you want to feel good and confident about yourself. Who are they to say you can't? The way you put it they are pretty much saying they want you to stay unhealthy, and that's not what family or friends should think. I'm not saying you need to cut them out, you may want to have a talk with them - it is possible they are just scared to be "fatphobic" or whatever the fuck else (the fact my browser marked fatphobic as a typo makes me really happy lol). I don't understand nor like their mindset. You are telling your loved one not to improve themselves and settle down with being unhappy in their own body - what fucking sense does that make? Focus on yourself and your needs as much as you can as a spouse and parent, if you are mentally and physically ready to start making those improvements, do it - if noone supports it, do it for yourself.
Take care
