@deeplydisturbed Really? My interpretation is that it's mostly just pointing out a sort of hypocrisy. Boomers didn't need to get degrees to earn a decent living, while the younger generations were basically forced to. I remember when I was in high school there was a ton of propaganda telling us we couldn't do shit without going to college. So college was basically a mandatory tax on us just like social security was for boomers. The difference being that college for many was just a money sink, whereas social security for boomers.. they actually are getting that money they invested back, and as the cartoon implies.. off the backs of younger folks, and it's a growing burden due to the boomer population bubble and our rapidly degrading economy and country.

Social security was created during a time of a sort of golden age for america, birthrate was high, country was united and coherent and there was incredible economic growth and innovation going on. Now... none of these are happening much, so the program is becoming more and more unsustainable. But what does that matter I guess? Gov't can just print another 10 trillion or w/e and hand it out... printing money definitely doesn't cause inflation after all. We definitely aren't near the end of empire and at the looting stage so..

I've been alright, have a girl but she's not really long term material. For one, she's taller than me. The non superficial reasons I'm gonna keep to myself but I dunno, she's basically a plate at this point I guess, all we do is fuck basically so.. I have been talking to some others, laying some inroads, getting to know them a bit. Some sexting but uhh, I dunno. It's gonna be tough to figure out how to deal with this situation. She is definitely in love me so.. I do feel bad about it. I care about her and stuff and don't wanna hurt her but I'm just not seeing any long term potential there. Very conflicted. I already blew off two dates I had set up and my motivation for dating is pretty low, partly because I already am having sex like 12 times a week and it's quite good, like a lot of BDSM type shit, it's pretty lit XD I am however a narcissistic asshole so I'm probably just gonna try and form some kind of secret harem and then eventually pick the one I like best and go exclusive. Ahhh, well... fairly highly chances everything is gonna blow up in my face at some point but it's at least an interesting way to live life, and hey, it might not XD
