And that's a good thing.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from Tucson, Arizona, at what is the beginning of a new major pushback by Trump Republicans to expose the cheating that took place in 2020.

For nine hours Tuesday, nine Arizona state lawmakers heard expert testimony as well as witnesses who saw the cheating firsthand — like so many did all around the country. This quasi-formal legislative hearing is the first of roughly a dozen that are going to happen around the country in the next few months.

And that has the Left freaking out — and here's why: This kind of relentless focus on the cheating that occurred in 2020 is encouraging a resentment among rank-and-file Republicans not only aimed at Democrats but, most importantly, at RINOs (Republicans in name only).

The GOP is being reshaped.

More political conservatives are getting involved, running for office and challenging the status quo in the party — a status quo that they say allowed the election theft to go unchallenged and permitted Biden to waltz into the White House.

So they are determined to fully expose the cheating (even more so) and hold RINOs responsible by ending their political careers. Once that is achieved, political conservatives will have almost complete control over the machinery of the election process and install roadblocks to blow up the Left's takeover.

Not exactly working out like the Dems thought it would.

I'm Michael Voris coming to you from Tucson, Arizona, where once again the controversy surrounding the stolen 2020 election is front and center.

Republicans are gathering here to announce plans for a legislative hearing to demand answers about tens of thousands of votes they say are not valid. That many votes would alter the outcome of the race here in Arizona, raising the serious prospect that the Republican-controlled legislature could decertify its 11 electoral votes that went to Joe Biden helping him secure the electoral college majority.

The vexing question of whether Joe Biden actually won continues to haunt the American electorate, of which a full one-third insist he cheated. Even more believe that while actual cheating per se did not occur, they don't sufficiently trust the system to produce accurate results in close races.

Just one of those is bad on its own, but, taken together, they produce a staggering lack of confidence in election results and, by extension, the government itself and whatever authority it tries to exert.

For example: Various research indicates that those who doubt (or refuse to believe) the 2020 election outcome also doubt or refuse to believe the entire COVID narrative and the constant push by government officials to mandate masks and jabs and "vaxports" and on and on. Likewise, they see themselves being railroaded by media who keep insisting claims that the election was stolen are "false" and "debunked" — while, in fact, the claims have never been "debunked" by anyone other than them. And by debunked we mean simply refused to be considered and reviewed.

On the question of debunking: Who precisely would be the expert or institution that would have the authority to decide and declare the claims are false and, therefore, debunked?

Certainly not the media who spent four years spreading outright lies about Trump (Russia and Ukraine come immediately to mind) and, even after Trump, are now pushing a phony "insurrection" claim about Jan 6.

The media, as their backup for claims of stolen election charges being debunked, keep pointing to the string of losses Trump suffered in the courts, wrongly portraying it as the courts heard the evidence and decided the election was fair and Trump lost.

But while the media have dubbed the stolen election claim "The Big Lie," what's actually the big lie is that the claim has been debunked. It has never been debunked, and the media's relentless claims about it don't make their claims true — it just makes them constant and annoying.

No court ever actually heard the actual evidence in the case. They simply ruled Trump (or voters or states or members of Congress or anyone living and breathing) didn't have standing, so judge after judge just threw the cases out of court — including the Supreme Court.

So it's not possible to make the claim that Trump or his surrogates around the country lost in court. They never got into court in any meaningful way.

'Sad' doesn't quite capture it.

Shall we take a quick tour around society and measure the current state of affairs in the Church?

Jussie Smollett, a race-baiter if there ever was one (almost as much as Wilton Gregory), has now been found guilty — and yet his lawyers are insisting the truth will all come out on appeal. But don't forget, when Smollett tried to stoke the fires of racism and homophobia, he was celebrated and declared to be telling the truth by some pretty big notables.

Here was Biden's announcement before he was not actually elected.

Joe Biden: "Homophobia and racism have no place on our streets or in our hearts. We are with you, Jussie."

And his running mate before she, too, didn't actually win.

Kamala Harris: "This was an attempted modern-day lynching."

And what race-baiting event would be considered authentic without the presence of Al Sharpton?

Al Sharpton, Baptist minister: "The reported hate attack on my friend and brother actor Jussie Smollett is despicable and outrageous. The guilty must face the maximum."

Don't hold your breath for reversals from the hate-baiting crowd. Why do Catholics care about this? Because the bishops' conference is one of the leading peddlers of all this nonsense about America being systemically racist.

The biggest cheerleader of all that idiocy is Wilton Gregory, who gets to deflect from his own lack of faith in matters spiritual by virtue signaling over racism. He is, of course, joined by various bishops like El Paso's Mark Seitz, who rushed to barricades of the supposed race wars last summer, kneeling down with his sign showing support for the phony issue — not to mention a group of anti-Catholic commies.

But hey, never let a good crisis go to waste, right?

It's what Church Militant is all about.

Probably the most famous voice to ever grace American airwaves was that of Paul Harvey, a radio icon who could be heard for nearly half a century by tens of millions of Americans.

In addition to the multiple taglines he created and used with great frequency was one that stood out as his most popular. That line, "the rest of the story," eventually became his most popular radio program, as well as a book, and eventually became the capstone to a career ending with him receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom, in 2005, from George Bush.

What Harvey's approach did — his "rest of the story" — was give people the backstory on something going on. Today, we might call it "background" or "connecting the dots" or "context."

But whatever you call it, it was the presentation that highlighted how things were away from the public eye. Regardless of what he was reporting on, this segment contextualized what people knew just as the headlines.

In many ways, that's exactly what we do here at Church Militant. And while Harvey's Rest of the Story presentations were oftentimes more lighthearted than ours, the same principle applies. That principle is that you need to know the rest of the story.

Church Militant is absolutely dedicated to bringing you the rest of the story, meaning especially what you won't hear from other places because those other places don't want you hearing the rest of the story.

False unity is a lie.

There is what can be described as a "false front" being presented today by the hierarchy. It's a pretended unity — a brotherhood, as it were — where bishops can never be seen to publicly disagree with one another. There cannot even be a whiff of division among them. That's the party line. And the cost to maintain that facade of unity is truth.

Too many of the bishops (and their minions in the Catholic establishment media) scoff at faithful Catholics demanding accountability from the hierarchy, that they do their jobs and teach the authentic Catholic faith.

And to that point, it's extremely important to realize just how well-insulated the bishops keep themselves from criticism. They have an entire web that keeps them protected from truth bombs.

For example (as you know), a couple of weeks back, we had our Bishops: Enough Is Enough prayer rally in Baltimore that the USCCB tried desperately to have canceled through their cooperation with the city. About 1,500 faithful Catholics were in attendance, and on stage were canceled priests, sex abuse victims of homopredators in collars and, interestingly, multiple secular media outfits. But unsurprisingly, not one single Catholic establishment media outlet (with one exception) covered the event or even mentioned it.

You know something is amiss when the Associated Press, Washington Post, New York Times and so forth are reporting on a gathering of faithful Catholics and no Catholic media does.

That deliberate ignoring of the rally did not go unnoticed by faithful Catholics, and it actually became a topic on Relevant Radio's Patrick Madrid Show a couple days ago. A fellow wrote in and excoriated Relevant for refusing to cover the rally in any form, as well as sidestepping the much-wider issue of the evil within the hierarchy.

Amidst all the sex abuse, prolific presence of homosexuality and its embrace by bishops, the financial theft of billions of dollars, the widespread departure from the teaching of the Faith and much much more, here was Patrick Madrid's condescending answer to the listener asking why not give some attention to the Baltimore rally: "How does that contribute to anything beneficial? ... What will be accomplished, other than making people more angry? ... Other than that, nothing. ... Channel all of your anger at prayer and good example. ... That's where you can really effect some change."

A heartless culture.

First a blessed feast day to you today on this Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It's always important to remember that our heavenly Father is always at work, even at times He seems completely absent.

All those millennia ago, quietly, in the smallest unknown stirring of the womb of St. Anne, our Blessed Mother was conceived in preparation to be the Mother of God. It would be her fiat "let it be done unto me" that would bring forth redemption for the human race and our hope of salvation.

The Blessed Trinity saw it all, of course, even though it was completely absent from the mind or eyes of man. God is in control and working at every instant, even when we don't see it at a particular point in time. Roughly 16 years onward from her Immaculate Conception, preserved free from all stain of original sin, she who was conceived today would herself conceive Him who brought about her conception.

So again, a splendid feast day to you from all of us here at Church Militant. It was one week ago today that Church Militant brought you extensive coverage of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization case at the United States Supreme Court. As a quick aside, thank you for following our reports from there.

Demons by Fyodor Dostoevsky is a story about a revolutionary cadre that attempts to wreak havoc on a Russian village as part of their quest to overthrow the traditional order. It features intense psychological descriptions and analysis by Dostoevsky to reveal the deep-seated emotions and feelings that drive revolutionary behavior.

Losing touch with God

You may be sure that all those who cease to understand their people and lose their connection with them, at once, in the same measure, also lose the faith of their fathers, and become either atheists or indifferent.

Revolutionary ideas were sweeping Russia at the time. Dostoevsky himself was caught up in the fervor and served time in prison for his activities. Being spared execution by the Tsar at the last moment served as his spiritual awakening, allowing him to recede from the darkness and become a force of tradition and Orthodoxy.

The modern drive to “progress” can be understood as destroying any sense of faith and order possessed by the preceding generations. It may be hard to believe, but many humans today still retain some logos within them which makes today’s revolutionary movement that much more worrisome, because once the remainder is removed from those who rightly believe that a man is a man and a woman is a woman, and both should have the ability to seek their daily bread, materially and spiritually, what will be left? The horrors of the 20th century will pale in comparison to what we will soon face.
