CIA Files Say Staffers Committed Sex Crimes Involving Children. They Weren’t Prosecuted.

Over the past 14 years, the Central Intelligence Agency has secretly amassed credible evidence that at least 10 of its employees and contractors committed sexual crimes involving children.

Though most of these cases were referred to US attorneys for prosecution, only one of the individuals was ever charged with a crime. Prosecutors sent the rest of the cases back to the CIA to handle internally, meaning few faced any consequences beyond the possible loss of their jobs and security clearances. That marks a striking deviation from how sex crimes involving children have been handled at other federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and the Drug Enforcement Administration. CIA insiders say the agency resists prosecution of its staff for fear the cases will reveal state secrets.

The revelations are contained in hundreds of internal agency reports obtained by BuzzFeed News through Freedom of Information Act lawsuits.

One employee had sexual contact with a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old. He was fired. A second employee purchased three sexually explicit videos of young girls, filmed by their mothers. He resigned. A third employee estimated that he had viewed up to 1,400 sexually abusive images of children while on agency assignments. The records do not say what action, if any, the CIA took against him. A contractor who arranged for sex with an undercover FBI agent posing as a child had his contract revoked.

Only one of the individuals cited in these documents was charged with a crime. In that case, as in the only previously known case of a CIA staffer being charged with child sexual crimes, the employee was also under investigation for mishandling classified material.

A post-Roe world?

I'm Michael Voris, coming you from the U.S. Supreme Court, where the most important case on abortion in the past half century has just concluded oral arguments.

After two hours of some pretty intense back and forth on both sides and coming from both liberal and conservative justices, the case is now concluded, and the nation awaits a ruling. Side note — even though the court often holds off on handing down opinions until late June, there's no guarantee that it will take that long. It could come at any time.

But whenever it's handed down, here's the certainty: Either the justices will entirely abandon Roe v. Wade as well as Casey (directly or indirectly), or the high court will come up with some new, crazy standard to support what's called the "right to an abortion."

So going deeper, here's the reality: The case could not have even reached the court today had not at least four justices agreed to hear it. That does not automatically translate into at least four justices who would overturn Roe, but it does mean that at least four justices were at least willing to consider it.

That has the pro-abortion camp terrified that the truth of this evil is now up for consideration. But likewise, it has the pro-life side energized like never before in the past two and maybe three generations.

It comes down to the Catholics.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the United States Supreme Court, where arguments are being heard today in what is shaping up to be the supreme moment of truth in the U.S. abortion wars.

Front and center is Mississippi's new pro-life law, which is the most direct threat to Roe v. Wade ever — including the landmark 1992 Planned Parenthood v. Casey ruling, which locked down Roe v. Wade for the past (almost) 30 years.

Abortion has been, and remains, the single issue the entire society revolves around: judicial picks, elections, budgets, policy, social wars — you name it — especially the war over the Blessed Sacrament and the Real Presence, between faithful Catholics and their bishops.

When you think about everything that has gone on for decades to get to this point — all the politicking, the thousands of campaigns, the lying and slanted coverage from the Marxist media, the treason and sellout by so many RINO Republicans, the election cheating, the Trump mega-presence, the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the numerous lower court rulings on dozens of cases, the near-total capitulation by the successors of the Apostles, every last Rosary prayed in front of an abortion chamber, the death threats from the pro-aborts, the slaughter of tens of millions of innocent human beings, the lies by the elites, the sexual revolution — all of it, every last bit, has come down to this.

It's hard to imagine that the Supreme Court would ever undo Roe if it doesn't do it now, in this case. Arguments are today, but the final ruling is expected at the end of the term, the last couple days of June.

Something we all need.

As the world and culture convulse around us, many men of goodwill are perplexed, not knowing exactly how we got where we are right now, not understanding what happened, who the players were, and are, that drove civilization to the precipice.

The reason so few people understand so little of all this is an issue with a couple of different dynamics at play.

First, when civilization was still, well, civilized, people naturally just went about their usual day-to-day lives, because the impact of those bent on destroying the world wasn't yet felt in its full fury. So it was understandable that if you don't see a threat, you don't respond to it.

Second, the lack of seeing a threat doesn't mean there isn't one; it just means a person is not clued in enough to its reality. Life was good, moving along, so why go actively looking for bad stuff?

Third, that second point bespeaks a lack of understanding of how the world works, especially the supernatural world. Saint Peter warns us to be on the lookout for the Devil, who prowls about like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Blissful ignorance leads to destruction. It's just that simple.

Yep. $28 million.

Amidst all the hubbub of last week's U.S. bishops' meeting, one thing that didn't get a lot of attention was this little gem: In order to promote Church teaching on the Eucharist, the bishops' three-year plan comes along with $28 million price tag.

True to its roots as a bureaucratic swamp, the very first response to the devastating news that more than three out of every four Catholics doesn't believe in the Real Presence was to form a committee.

That committee will then do some studies, and those studies will next be submitted to boards for review, and plans will be developed based on the review of the studies by the committee.

Of course, all of this requires the hiring of attorneys and, of course, insurance agents as well as marketers to produce pamphlets and flyers and posters — all aiming to produce a big, one-time event three years from now in Indianapolis. That eucharistic revival event is what has the pricey $28 million figure attached to it.

So the USCCB's answer to the profound loss of faith in the Real Presence of Our Blessed Lord in the Eucharist is to first fundraise and then spend $28 million on an event three years from now.

It's incredible that, given the bishops' response, that even 30% of Catholics still believe in the Real Presence. In fact, with leaders like this, it's actually astonishing anyone believes anything about the Faith.

In a very unique way.

It's called compromise.

Fallout continues from the U.S. bishops' conference meeting last week as the disaster that is the U.S. hierarchy comes into sharper focus for everyday-Catholic pew-sitters.

The U.S. hierarchy, as a body, is theologically malformed.

That should not be a shock, considering when almost all these men were in seminary; the tumultuous years from the 1970s through 2000 were nothing short of a disaster. The Faith was not being properly transmitted, the Church's devotional and liturgical life was being gutted, extremely questionable men — child molesters and active homosexuals — were flooding into the seminary and working their way up to the episcopate.

Catholic identity was in the process of being lost, and we don't mean just cultural.

Catholic theological identity was vanishing, and today it has almost entirely evaporated, and that is most stunningly clear among the hierarchy. Church Militant spoke to multiple bishops at the conference and asked the pressing questions about sacrilegious Holy Communion and cozying up to the pro-sodomy camp in the Church.

It's a den of thieves.

Based on what we have come to learn about the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) over our time in Baltimore, the Conference needs to be brought to an end.

It is nothing more than a vehicle for obscuring the Faith, on the one hand, and advancing phony social justice warrior claims on the other. It is, in short, a den of thieves — stealing souls and money.

The Conference operates on a roughly $200 million annual budget, and while it's true that a substantial portion of that budget is funded by all Americans' tax dollars, the rest of it is funded specifically by Catholics' donations into the weekly collection basket. The bishops agree to have each diocese chip in some percentage of its own budget and forward that on to USCCB headquarters in D.C. to pay for:

• Liberal bureaucrats to lobby Congress for liberal causes
• Bloated bureaucracy and
• The bishops' twice per year gatherings

In sum, you are paying for this Conference through a system of ecclesiastical and civil taxes. And for what? Absolutely nothing. Well, check that; if only nothing was being accomplished, that would be bad enough, but something far worse than just nothing is being accomplished here. The demolition of the Faith is going on.

But this is nothing new. When you consider that the Conference (and its attendant evils over the years) was begun by Detroit's own über-liberal Cdl. John Dearden back in 1966 — immediately following Vatican II — none of this can surprise anyone.

The conference is controlled.

There is something seriously wrong and deeply troubling about the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops — and we don't mean just the usual stuff.

When the bishops get together as a conference, it's like some kind of demonic force, a demon, is at work, guiding everything going on there. The confusion, the absence of clarity, the muddled messages that pour forth like vomit — something is way off.

During this past week, loads of Church Militant staff had multiple chance-meetings with numerous bishops, and, well, it was creepy. And it's not just the bishops, but loads of the "professional Catholic" crowd (as Pope Benedict referred to them). They, too, are under some kind of spell, all of them avoiding the reality of the Church's crisis and creating a substitute moral imperative to cover for their willful blindness.

Since our various encounters with bishops were private (in a sense), we will skip over who the bishops were we talked with — and there were quite a few — and simply get to the what of what was conveyed.

After the vote (222–8) to pass the much-applauded, toothless Eucharist document, we met multiple bishops that afternoon and especially the next day as they were all leaving to return to their dioceses. So we asked quite a few the direct question, "As a bishop, would you give Holy Communion to Joe Biden if he came to you?"
