@RealJoeDee I've been saying that since climate change became a "thing".

@Typo-MAGAshiv I get it.... to a point. There's a little bit of butt-hurt that goes along with getting ripped off. But if you're a man, and especially if you're RP/Alpha. there's no need to take that public. Issue a warning, explain why you were able to be beat, and move on. Punish yourself by doing the hard work to make yourself better, not by crying on the interwebs.

@destraht more like the same chumps that were beat up by black people are now afraid of being called racists and are prepared to ignore the problem rather than deal with it.

@slutmagazine not that I know of, but there are plenty of democracies that aren't Constitutional Republics. I was only riffing on the idea that democracy (in any form) is not a bolt-on for certain cultures.

@slutmagazine nope. Hell, based on what I've seen, I don't think a constitutional republic is, either.

@slutmagazine Global capitalism works. Universal capitalism doesn't unless you're prepared to deal with the subjugation and armed struggle that comes along with it. Is it worth it? Probably not unless you're prepared to wait generations for ROI.

@DeathSaint I agree. I'm all for free speech but there are plenty of folks who shouldn't be advertising their products on TV - big pharma being #1 - most folks lack the understanding of science, and are clogging up waiting rooms, demanding Drug X.

@slutmagazine I've come to the conclusion that some cultures are functionally incompatible. There are a lot of Muslim-majority nations where capitalism as described by Adam Smith simply won't work. Those nations probably aren't the best to live a morally abhorrent lifestyle, either. They can keep their faith and we can keep our money and peacefully co-exist - the problems arrive when you export one culture to another and demand compliance or tolerance.

@DeathSaint So when we thought the earth was flat or the center of the galaxy, even though neither was true, how does that comport with "believing"? Science is a process, not a religion. Fauci and his band of "believe the science" clowns are preying on the non-science background of Americans to convince them to believe in big-government policies. Feh.

@Dope_D1ck Rap, as a genre, has been on life support for about 15-20 years. Beyond a few superstars from the late 90s and early 2000s, Hip-Hop has been trash since Wu-Tang started spending 7 figures on videos. The guys out there who still put out the gritty 90s rap (nearly everyone on Boot Camp, 50 cent when he's not trying to make "club bangers", Talib Kweli, Uncle Murda, sometimes Busta Rhymes or Fat Joe, and so on) I still listen to, but nearly everyone else is following the same formula. Auto-Tune, talk of a trap house, bitches, hoes, money, and gang affiliations. It's just lame because I've heard the same thing from someone else six months ago.

I'm always surprised when I find something I like that's a "throwback" to the golden era of hip-hop. Today it's more like pop music with Rap lyrics. Admittedly I am biased toward groups from New York and the surrounding area, but beyond the occasional diamond in the rough, modern rap artists are uninspiring clones.
