@Antelope I’m American, and I just decided only to sleep with older, wealthy men when I was riding the CC full speed in college. I got particularly good at seducing them, and got about a dozen to genuinely fall in love with me. But the skank in me was too strong, and I refused to be exclusive with any of them, until I met my husband.

@Antelope Jesus Christ. How do you become an armorer without making weapons safety a muscle memory?

@Antelope right? That’s what red pill theory says: women with power are a turn off to men. Men date down and women date up.

In Whisper’s interview, he says that TRP is truth gleaned from collective experience. It’s like kind of bad, biased, sociology research, but it’s based on reality.

So, this woman tried insisting that wealthy men don’t marry lower or middle class women. I disagreed. I asked her where her opinion came from and she said “It’s not an opinion, it’s an analysis of culture.” (Lol.)

My uh… extensive experience with wealthy men, along with general red pill axioms, say that men care about whether a woman is pretty and has class, not what class she from which she comes. I told her such, and the thing about TRP being based on experience.

She was like, “You have the nerve to lecture ME about TRP?!” (She helped found RedPillWives, which, notably, is for women and is an offshoot of TRP.) She took my criticism of her argument’s source personally, and began resorting to personal insults. I told her she was doing that, and she replied that I was the one who “made it personal.” I said, “You’re way too emotional right now to argue rationally,” and exited that mess of a conversation.

But it occurred to me that the only reason I could tell her exactly why she was responding the way she was and clinging to her emotionally-backed opinion was because I recognized the same behavior in myself when I argue.

And I don’t fucking want to be like that.

@slutmagazine you’re right. I don’t. I have only experience with men who didn’t give a shit about n count.

But where this whole thing is mostly coming from is a conversation I was having with a woman about whether or not wealthy men will marry low or middle class women. I have plenty of experience with that.

@Zavss I am awaiting the day when I finally internalize the excellent advice not to argue with women

There are people who will pull things out of their ass and defend these opinions to the death, even when those with concrete experience tell them why they’re wrong.That’s when the emotional arguments come out.

I am guilty of this as well, and am going to try to stop doing it. God bless my husband for always poking holes in my arguments in his lawyerly way instead of just appeasing me to get me to shut up.
