@lurkerhasarisen @Typo-MAGAshiv We coined an expression at my last job where a colleague hated his job but was refusing to go to work somewhere else unless he got a huge raise. We chuckled: "He's going to refuse to get on the lifeboat unless it has leather seats". Another analogy: Hypergamy practiced by young, childless women makes sense in that they have tremendous SMV and even RMV value although the morality of their behavior is another matter. If you have a case of bottled water and a disaster has struck, "why not" price gouge them to thirsty refugees? But what happens when that same person needs to sell 10 year old bottles of water next to a clean running river?

@Typo-MAGAshiv I dig. Thought it would be cool to post here at least.

Here's the thing: she's asking for a total bailout from a TALL man. If I was broke and looking for a woman to date me, I wouldn't be demanding a model. I don't feel sad for her, quite frankly. Heightest got pregnant from a man she wasn't even married to and now wants another tall guy. Imagine if I had a child from a model and asked for other women to step up as step-mom but... THEY BETTER BE MODELS.

But sure, hope you enjoyed it as it is here. 'night.

@Deepthroat @TYPO-magashiv @Vermillion-Rx About my own situation: I had a decent career but was laid off after meeting my future wife. She was seeing other prospects but chose me because of my sincerity and after I got another job, she moved in with me and we soon married but it was frugal living for a good year. That means a lot to me to this day in that even though she's a total pain in the arse (think of "strong independent woman" on steroids, we've been together for 20 years.

But yeah, if I had a son rather than a daughter, I'd have educated him in soft skills most otherwise successful BP men lack: working on his physical fitness, stretching exercises, a diet to encourage height growth, martial arts, mental and social manipulation techniques, game, and so on.

Men who have "hard skills" (a good job) are sort of like someone who buys a BMW but doesn't know how to drive it. I see tons of those on the road.

@Vermillion-Rx I hate to sound like Obi Wan but that's a word I have not heard in a long time...

Oh, for the days when "bigot" was a common pejorative! You must be... old!

The accusation of "bigotry" was back when "liberals" accused conservatives of being stupid and closed minded for ignoring logical points that liberals made. In the case of someone such as the strawman "Archie Bunker", he would be outsmarted by his Polish liberal son-in-law who was an unemployed loser, but refuse to at least consider "meathead's" points.

Bigot became such a pejorative that many eventually forgot what the term originally meant and it even fell out of fashion similar to the word "liberal" which has been replaced with "progressive" because "liberal" became a pejorative just as "politically correct" did and was replaced with "woke" and now "woke" is being regarded with disdain by, er, the woke. My little sister says it's a "trigger word" for her but what other term should I use?

I don't mind if she calls me a misogynistic cheapskate. Flattery will get her nowhere, however...

@Lionsmane8 (I believe) that St Thomas Aquinas supposedly found merit in prostitutes as a "sewer for sin" similar to "red light districts" in Amsterdam or gambling in Las Vegas: If people are going to "sin", why not have them do it in a particular place that at least is not in your backyard?

Back in the old days of oppression, women were socially and legally required to marry without a welfare state or child-support for single mothers so most of them avoided being sluts. The ones who were prostitutes provided easy access for men to sow their wild oats without pressuring normal women for sex. Watch the opening scene of The Godfather: A crying father tells how he allowed his daughter to go out on dates and then was violated. A responsible father courted men at the home and fed them but of course, also observed them. A smart man (which I was) brought flowers to the lady of the home and beer for the father. My closeness to my in-laws is a major benefit/strength in my marriage.

Most women, and even grandmothers today, are, well, whores of one type or another. Marilyn Monroe "Gentlemen prefer blondes" golddiggers, attention whores, meal whores, flakes, or even sluts with marriage/family minded women SHAMED by other women as "pickmes". We live in a mentally ill society.

Regarding distinguishing sluts from wifeys. Sheesh, that should be easy today with all kinds of search engines that allow you to search for someone by face recognition with decades of social media and heck, most women are now too masculine (in a bad way) to possess feminine wiles to fool men after decades of easy living.

@kosredpill Question/observation: What do you mean by chemistry?

I married my wife and we have awful chemistry but for 20 years, knock on wood, she's a good wife and mother. Women are into astrology and "chemistry" and all that nonsense because they live in "feelings" world. As a man, you should easily be able to quantify, like the oil level on your car engine, what's going on. With a woman who was quite nice but not compatible with me, I was able to easily quantify why I had to cut her loose.

It sounds like she was prettier online than in person. A 2/10 difference in scale is significant and I appreciate that may be simply the issue. I met my wife at age 26, married her at 30, 20th anniversary coming up. So think long term. A 6.5 whose still a 6.5 at 20 years is not much different than an 8 whose a 6 20 years later.

Of course, I'm from an earlier generation where I got married and had a daughter. I'm looking after he now while my wife is on a cruise with my sister.

If I were 20 years ago and a guy like you, I'd consider a 6.5/10 whose crazy for me to be an opportunity to perhaps, if she's ok, to set up a legal trust with the funds largely safe from divorce/child-support lawyers crawling over them and have a family. My wife it's not necessary for other reasons (she knows I'm more useful to her alive than dead, so I drink my tea without fear.)

My wife is a pain in the rear, but I do like a lot about her which includes that she has family values which means a lot to me. This is all about what you want out of life. Best wishes.

@deeplydisturbed @Vermillion-RX what's interesting to me about the trans-gender thing is how it hurts the TERF anti-male feminists. If I was 20, I'd have gotten some earrings, declared myself a trans-gender woman lesbian, and applied for all the female-only scholarships and goodies. Remember Billie Jean King? She bragged that women could beat a man (turns out Bobbie Riggs probably fixed the tennis match to pay gambling debts) and that's why women soccer and golf players should be paid the same as men.

Play chess, men, not checkers.

@deeplydisturbed @FrancoAP Back in the 1980's, the major beneficiary of "DEI" were late boomer/early Gen X white, bourgeoisie middle class women whose father cut her checks to go to university, enjoyed preferential treatment, and then married the huge number of aging boomer men whose "privilege" had been grandfathered in. It was The Happy Times of 2nd wave feminism.

Think about if a manager needs to meet their diversity quota in 1985: You can hire a minority man who wants to support his family OR a pretty white girl. Note that back then this sexual harassment nonsense didn't yet take effect so it meant more V available in the workplace as well.

The bean counter executives eventually decided they were interested in ethnic "diversity" after all via the importation of cheap labor to replace "lazy" white guys. It's a two-fer: Bring in subservient indentured servant immigrants and score quota points as well. Being a white male in most corporate environments means that EVERYONE is looking to stick a knife in your back including your own kind while everyone else are members of "protected groups" in wolf packs.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5V6gdu5ih8

Eventually though, first they came for the lower class white males, then they came for the middle class white males, and now they're coming for the Karens.

@Typo-MAGAshiv @moorekom, @woodsmoke, @lurkerhasarisen, @DeeplyDisturbed There's three total. The OP post (which I don't think I've posted yet), and the other 2 which were comments to that. I can post as Single Mother Tears on the weekend content in separate posts as part 1, part 2, and part 3 with comments explaining the context.

Just to be sure which is which in case someone objects to any of the parts: part 1 is: "I'm a single mom who is ready to give up on men because they all want sex" (post on a forum) (single mom tears for flair, yes?) part 2 is: "this literally made me cry" (comment to the post in part 1) (strong successful woman flair vibe) part 3 is: "If it makes you feel any better I am in my 30's with no kids and I also have no shortage of dates" (comment to the post in part 1, likely a leftover woman flair?)

Today is Wednesday so I can post on Friday or Saturday. Please give guidance/advice. I expect these gals are not going anywhere in the meantime... :-)
