@MentORPHEUS Oh, then it’s just a simple bug. Why the diatribe about all of your feelings and your “low desire”?
@MentORPHEUS huh that's not supposed to happen...
I suspect this is due to time zones.
Let me look into this for a fix.
Despite the errant time stamps on those posts I'm fairly certain they are actually in order by new, I think the time labels are wrong. But I'll get a fix underway right away.
Also as I mentioned to @Typo-MAGAshiv we're going to add a setting to show the old feed. For you old dogs.
Also @rpu_mike is cool he just sat on his nuts today
@MentORPHEUS same experiment. Similar results.
You are whining about something that already exists.
Weird DARVO flex, but OK. Something tells me you aren't accustomed to client/end user facing positions.
The “new” feed is strictly chronological.
OK, let me double check this. clicks new

@Vermillion-Rx There’s no way to reliably determine what someone has seen. This is never going to happen.
However, we are currently looking into a significant number of changes for notifications so statuses or posts you engage with are not missed.
@MentORPHEUS It sounds like you were using trp.red like an inbox. It’s now evolved to be more like a true social media feed.
I would encourage you to re-evaluate your expectation of being able to catch everything, it’s simply unrealistic.
Perhaps if there is a simple way to make it so a forum post/comment you've already seen on forums doesn't show up on the feed?
Obviously an easier solution is giving users the option to just see the old view. I'd go so far as to say it might be a better default view and have to opt into mixed view rather than the other way around
@Typo-MAGAshiv In the before times, I would have seen all of those mentions. In ~20min across 2 days, I saw none of them. :(
