@NorthOC

Hey, I have no idea where to ask any of this, so here it goes.

I don't know how to get a job. Literally. No, seriously. In my life I have been sheltered to live off of food stamps and govt. NEET bucks and it was enough for me to live comfortably at home (and even travel to a shit to of places). But now, with the economy going to shit in Eastern Europe, and the reduction of NEET bucks handouts, I'm slowly running dry on my savings and need to get a job.

I have IT and digital marketing skills and have been actively applying for about 2 weeks, but so far, no luck in even getting an interview...

Currently, I have only like 2 months of professional experience in programming, from a internship I did in the summer.

I'm trying to avoid a dead-end job and get into a position in which I can gain experience and increase my income with time. But as my finances are running low, I'm afraid I will have to settle for a low wage-cuck job and quit college.

Any advice?

@Ill_Will7's offering you solid advice here as there's not much we could offer that you likely haven't heard already. Focus on finishing the semester as strongly as you can and reconsider applying for the "dead-end jobs" available to you. If they provide you with the best likely means of bolstering your dwindling savings, then take solace in knowing that you don't have to work them forever. You've been out of the labor pool for an unknown period of time and this will not bode well in the mind of hiring managers as they typically prefer to hire those with current or recent employment history.

As you're also in college, your high school classmates who went right into the work force, even if that was just the military, are miles ahead of you as far as experience making them more likely prospective employees. They are the people you'll be compared against when applying for entry level jobs and they'll be going to college part-time to maintain that lead. If you decide to take on another semester, be sure to immediately follow mid-terms by applying for paid internships within your field as time permits.

I would also suggest that you look into whatever networking opportunities professional associations representing your field of study and fraternities represented at your college can provide for post-graduate employment. You may also want to look into volunteer opportunities in programming related fields, maybe some open source group could help you continue to develop your programming skills between semesters and internships. If you've otherwise got reliable connections that can secure you employment, I'd advise you use them as well. Best of luck to you.

Jack of all trades, master of none. Independence is key, to living it right. Don't know? Learn it. Make it. Do it. Fail and win.

It is better to be alone than with mediocre idiots who are wasting your time.

Relationship Philosophy:

Never complain to women about anything. As far as she's concerned, your life is void of problems.

LTR's are only a pain in the ass if you choose to make sacrifices. Ask yourself this - would your life change if you leave her? If no, then you're doing it right.

Get fit for easy sex. I used to be a theory slave for years until my first breakthrough.
