I'm considering making open and notorious use of part of an adjacent parcel to my mountain ranch. It's way down a canyon that's hard to access from the road on their side. It's got two long abandoned and dilapidated buildings, and the owner pays his property taxes on time every year. However, in the 5 years I've owned the place, like most of the owners of the vacant neighboring parcels, he hasn't set foot on his property.
Also I've bought a few tax sale properties that will probably need some property line straddling road access built. This may also require putting some adverse possession into practice.
