@1 Gnomon by Nick Harkaway is one of the best modern stories I've read.

Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse if you're interested in the Buddhist ways

The Prince by Macchiaveli is a timeless classic on power and warfare

Coherence by Alan Watkins

The Origin Story by David Christian

What doesn't kill us by Scott Carney

@jwayne And so begins the journey from consumer to producer. A man is not measured by what he takes in, but by the quality of his output, and only in creating can we achieve that unique satisfaction that accompanies it.

This idea is compounded by the vast amount of negative inputs available today, our 'news', TV, foods, and phones give instant gratification as well as a reason to remain passive and lazy.

We start by replacing high reward habits to those that require delayed gratification, and this best achieved through removing those high rewards behaviours from your environment.

All knowledge will be shared, it is what you do with this knowledge that is important.

@WanaxAgamemnon I'll begin posting content next week starting with theory and week long experiments. Most of the content is adapted from reddit user /u/abdada 's work.

The aim is to cultivate your mind through reduction of high reward behaviours in favour of longer term gratification, switching your mindset from one of a passive consumer to a man who creates.

Thanks for joining

700: industrial revolution, space station, cars, visiting moon, phones, facetime, internet, nukes.

Our rate of change is at the start of an exponential curve. AI will begin automating, getting smarter and rapidly improving productivity, and social media will give you a voice to millions if you're smart about it.

The story of humans is just getting exciting

Yet on our own planet we're living at a time of such extreme change. Imagine a book with 700 pages that documents the human species' history for our 140,000 year history. Each page is 200 years. Page 1: hunters Page 650: agriculture This book is boring as fuck Page 690: Jesus 697: Rome 698: Renaissance, enlightenment, discover galaxies 699: beginning of the US

Fascinating that there are 1000 planets for every grain of sand on earth, one in 10 being potentially hospitable. Earth has only been around for 4.5 billion years, maybe types of life could have had a huge head start on us.

Our life form could be so insignificantly inferior that advanced forms don't interact with us in the same way that we don't stop to visit an anthill on the side of the road

LOTS = laws of the soul. LOTS is a framework to enable mastery of your inner world. It combines the trinity of self: Body, mind, and spirit, with the teachings of masters from many domains to extract the essence of living a good life.

  1. The Red Pill guides the relationships and desire to stick to the mission. Often the starting place for relinquishing from society's chains and chasing selfish goals.

  2. RUBORD / Yellow Pill keeps focus on the long term, a striving for freedom, removing addictive stimuli (food, social media, sugar), and shifting the mindset from that of passive consumer to active producer.

  3. Keto, weightlifting, HIIT, for health, strength, and discipline.

  4. Wim Hof Method for the mind-body connection, taking back ownership of the immune system, and overcoming adverse conditions everyday.
