I started Uni with lots of confidence, then a few months in is when it started going down hill for me. There was this girl in my history class who would make frequent eye contact with me. So I finally decided to ask her for her snapchat after class. This took days for me to finally get the nerve to do. I remember leaving the building behind her, waiting for to finish talking to her friend (I didn't realize how creepy this was until after the fact). As I approached her, she actually got startled because I have a light footstep. I remember saying something along the lines of, "Hey, do you think I could get your snapchat?" To which she responds with "Uhhh-no I don't give that out to people like that." And I'm just like, "oh aight..." and walk away with single tear running down my face. Now that I've just found out about trp, I've been wondering how this situation could've been different. I'm still not sure if I should've approached her in the first place. I'm still learning but, based on all that i've read so far. Should I have said "Oh, how bout a phone number instead?"
Just looking back at my mistakes, this is the one that I can't figure out the most. What would you guys have done?Read More
