How to deal with bulk lowering SMV?

I know someone will say "bro bulking should be aesthetic! If your gaining fat its cause your over eating!". I have been doing a slow bulk for about 8 months now. Have gone from 142-170. Strength is way up. And abs are still a little bit visible. And aiming to gaining 1 lb a week and eating 300 over maintenance. So I have been disciplined and have been working with a coach.

However Im 5'5. So any sort of weight gain past a certain point I end up looking like a chip munk. And I do not expect to cut any time soon. Strength has been going up and I went to keep going till I am 185+ and in the top 75% of lifts for my body weight and then cut back down to 155 as to that is where I will compete for BJJ then will maintenance lift. Long term game.

However I have noticed a lack of interest from the ladies. Although I was a tooth pick at 135-142 my face was chiseled (I have a handsome face no homo). When living in a large city I was going onn 2-3 dates a week from OLD even though I gave my real height. So I know long term when I get lean again it will be okay. However I notice girls are not giving me enough attention. Should I just suck it up for the next year and trust the process?
