@slutmagazine Good question, this place is called The Hogo because according to my culture a Hogo is an initiation School whereby boys ages six upward are taken to a mountain chosen by a shaman or traditional healer, that they may learn traditional masculine songs, an unofficial language and also become initiated into manhood. — A Hogo is also the last song that we learn when we are done with initiation school. The Hogo is thereafter used by initiated men to identify each other in normal society. — Traditionally, we spent 30 or more days in the mountains getting initiated. We used to spend more time up there but this changed as we started adopting a westernised form of education .
