@TheStoicCrane I for one think that it’s important to have differing views, so this doesn’t turn into an echo chamber. I don’t necessarily agree with everything, but definitely a lot of people wanted him out of the White House for sure that’s undeniable.
@Apollo oh for sure some interesting stuff on there no doubt. You have to sort through a lot of garbage tho to get to it
@Osiris oh I know what you’re talking abt. 4chan, and the pol board in general is just one big hellhole echo chamber and all they talk about is stuff like that. That road leads into “black pill” stuff as well, which is really just ppl deciding they don’t want to improve.
Who fucking cares about who lifts and who doesn’t. If GLO’s disciples preach real world practice, let the ideas stand the test of practice. If an idea is proposed by someone who allegedly doesn’t lift, the idea itself is not automatically invalidated. Go out and test the idea, if it works uses it, if not don’t, regardless of who said it. Lifting is amazing, focus on that instead of making lists about other dudes lifting.
@anislandforyourself honestly I feel like some people are only anti-establishment because it makes them feel superior to others. Like the dunning-Kruger affect on a massive scale. People thinking they are more informed than others just because it goes against the “mainstream”. These are people who believe conspiracy theories WITHOUT forming their own opinion first.
@redpillschool reminds me a bit of division and specialization of labor in economics whereby the society’s output is increased when compared to a less specialized economy (ie. everyone produces what they consume). Although I agree that knowledge of one specialty is not completely transferable (being a grandmaster at chess doesn’t make me a good mathematician or strategist, etc.), I think some aspects of a certain speciality that are somewhat transferable can help you learn another faster. In a TRP context, learning how to pass shit tests may help you learn how to negotiate in a business setting better, but learning how to pass shit tests won’t TEACH you how to negotiate.
@Zoocuffs I think guys definitely would like to pretend that all their problems are caused by society, but in all honesty, they’ll have much more success if they put aside what they can’t control and focus on what they can. For a lot of guys I think it’s hard to do.
@MentORPHEUS how soon until we have to “educate” ourselves to use their services
Can someone can explain to me how Robinhood traders were allowed to run up the price of Hertz, a BANKRUPT company? It's really crazy, a large portion of the price of an equity is now based on how many retail investors think they are smarter than everyone. Greater fool theory on cocaine?!
