It's not going to get much easier to get lays and plates in your thirties, but so long as you take care of yourself, your odds won't be much hurt by the small rite of passage of aging out of your twenties.

That said, your mileage may vary. I was an insecure, neurotic milquetoast in my twenties, and took a perverse pride in swallowing any masculine urges. I needed to do some real work on my self before I got to the point where I could even admit to myself what I wanted. My notch-explosion was more me getting out of my own way than tapping into some sort of ancestral well of magical knowledge, when the clock struck midnight on my thirtieth.
