Everything is to get the most consoomers now, at the expense of society as a whole in the longterm. Family Unit? "Doesn't matter." Intact neighborhoods? "Don't care this quarter." A society that can function longterm, putting out functional responsible adults? "Yawn, that's like what, 20 to 30 years away?" Like South Africa, the shit will hit the fan sooner or later but there will be nowhere to run to.

In 60 years, we'll see the post-WW2 period to coming Crash as a prime example of why "multicultural" "democracies" are always a facade and farce that will always be destined to fail. Assuming 90% of us didn't die in famine or civil war.

Or in this case, a woman using the tactic on someone she hooked in the past to gauge their interest after time passed and maybe had you forget why you ditched her, thinking with your dick, or any other lapse to her advantage.

If you see yourself and other men as a resource (more commoditized vs an "individual" special snowflake view) to women, it explains a lot of behavior.

@WokeDown Hit post before mentioning, when I was coming of age in the '80s, I wanted nothing more than to find a good woman and settle down, but women were so sketch and I watched bitch after bitch hook up with obviously bad relationship material after snottily turning me down. Now in my 50s I'm VERY happily single, but this feeling pervaded my being through my 20s. I think my parents were always low key disappointed in me for not marrying, but they were the tail end of functional Tradcon marriages and the beginning of the Baby Boom. By the time I hit a stride with women in my late 20s, my age cohorts were hitting the Wall and pretty much unable to sustain the role of a partner. Once New Relationship Energy wore off, they'd reveal their unhappy, cynical inner nature and turn into shitty non-partners.

@WokeDown Similar thing happened to my Brother about 4 years ago; at least his wife waited till the kids were high school age. Left with the guy she was totally-not-seeing those last couple months, they are still together.

His kids are doing well, though the younger son struggles in what sounds like a shitty girlfriend he won't cut ties with situation. My Brother needed almost a year to recover mentally and adjust to the new small condo life. Found a good girlfriend and they were together several years before recently parting somewhat amicably. He's really gone deeply into his music and is loving life. Playing with several bands, gigging regularly, getting some studio gigs, and sometimes playing with guys from big name bands you've heard of.

Try to be there for your friend, give him an ear to vent too, and take care not to shovel Red Pill material down him faster than he can swallow it when he's still feeling weak. If you want to be a super bro to him, discuss some ideas for a weekend day or outing once in a while, like a camping trip where he and the kids can wind down and break out of their current tough grind of a routine. Throw in some effort to keep the kids entertained so he can have a break from this unremitting duty for a change.

Where have all the good women gone? I didn't have hope in my life for a loving LTR. I just played the field like everyone else here and get my dick wet when I feel like it. I knew that and low expectations and all that. I'm barely disappointed anymore.

But my friend since way back just broke up with his HS sweetheart after twenty some years. They were the perfect couple not in the social media sense, with fake smiley pics, just that they go way back, consistency and being there for their 3 kids. Youngest is 8. After Christmas, when I last seen them, she just upped and left one day. The youngest kid is like 8. The oldest is about to graduate. We were laughing how they'll end up dying in each other's arms and shit.

Bro tells me she said she was bored and found an internet romance. He's devastated and barely keeping it together, taking care of his kids semi-alone. It's like she just lost interest one day and flipped a switch one day. She came back once just to pick up her stuff, barely interacted with the kids, and vamoosed out of there.

I don't know what to tell him. He refuses to go out but I'm afraid how he's going, he's going to wait until empty nest and then hang himself. He's as morose now as back in February but maybe cause he has to put a smiley face on all day.
