Meh, pull the string enough times and the toy just repeats itself and gets put back in the box with everything else.

@sigdeff Yeah, see the thing is, if this place was called ‘Glogang’ I could see what you were saying. But it isn’t, is it? This is TRP.red, so pull your head out of his arse, because he sure as fuck isn’t in charge.

@bloodexorcist

My final thoughts:

Yes, it should be based on your economic stability - unless you have the frame of an absolute god who can mould the child into a respectful and well adjusted saint that can learn to take life by the horns, something people of low economic stability are mostly incapable of.

@bloodexorcist

Out of curiosity, you have read the side bar/handbook, right?

@bloodexorcist

Uhm.. putting aside whatever blue pill things you said prior to your question. The implication that you can't be well-off in life unless you're playing the rat race is unsettling, when there is a whole side bar and lots of hours you can dedicate to knowing otherwise (which you then pass on to your child.)

@Caldero I have not been inconsistent with this point of view.

@bloodexorcist No, they shouldn't give up - but they should work their asses off to be in a position where they can look after a child, and not before. Simply because then we'd have more 'lost alphas'.

@Bukharin

I mean, your prompt about only looking at it through an economic point of view was pretty lazy itself - so I could only go off of that. But to side step that for a moment, to condense the counter-point:

Parents look at their economic situation and decide they can support a baby, or they don't consider their economic situation and have a baby. One example is mature enough to be a parent, the other is simply, not. Economic situation is the only lens in which to look at parenting. It informs the parents status: Career, health, maturity etc. and thus informs the childs. Without economic status, the opposites can safely be assumed (poor health, poor education, poor maturity.) How can it not?

@GayLubeOil I don't remember asking you a god damn thing.

The economic perspective of the working class parents will surely inform the consequent factors of the theoretical Childs life though, right?

Their lacklustre education will become their lacklustre career will become their lacklustre experiences will become their lacklustre relationships will become their lacklustre mental state will become their 'just another statistic' life - and all (arguably) because their parents were irresponsible and made a child they couldn't hope to support into a better life through economics.
