Are the corporates reverse-engineering Marx
Good post up till this point. Curious if you have read enough of Marx's writing to make an informed critique and rejection of it, or are merely using the word as a stand in for "ideology we don't like. "

Hey guys,
So, we're in the 2000s and socialists have been defeated and we own our businesses and we're freely buying and selling shit. Immigrants want a piece of this reality because it's a pretty good deal.
Now in the 2020s/2030s, we have:
- OSA, KOSA and EU Chat control legislation to end anonymity and for on-device surveillance
- Collective Shout and banks up to shit that should really be illegal
- Devices will no longer let you side-load apps (Android/Google)
- Nintendo is illegally patent trolling
- etc.
These trends lead towards an IoT (Internet of Things) enabled lifestyle where neither the home nor the devices actually belong to the user — you will own nothing and will be happy with a LaaS (Life-as-a-Service) lifestyle.
Are the corporates reverse-engineering Marx to own the individual as an asset?
What's going on?

@Stigma not really.
A photograph is just a moment in time. A white supremacist who doesn't know who the two men are might look at that photo and say "of course I want the white family to be our future!"
However, anyone with a functional brain who can see beyond race and especially if they know anything about those two men, are going to choose Vice President JD Vance over California Governor Gavin Newsom, who has accelerated the ruin of what used to be a fairly decent state when I was a kid, and supposedly Paradise on Earth back in the 1940s through 1970s.
Hey, Californians: how's that high speed train that your governor promised you and on which spent billions of your money going? How many miles of track do you have so far? Hmmmm?
Yeah, I can easily forgive JD Vance marrying an Indian woman, because it really doesn't fucking matter, and everything else about him is pretty fucking awesome.
Gavin Newsom having a family that looks like Hitler's wet dream doesn't matter either, when he's that malevolent or incompetent or both.

It's difficult to describe. He's obviously not a bloopie, clearly understands the differences between men and women and why the latter generally shouldn't be in charge of anything other than the children and running the household, but he occasionally says things make it equally clear there's still a foundation of romantic chivalry to his worldview that remains intact despite everything. Again, there's no smoking gun in any particular video to which I can point, it's more something I've put together over years of listening to his content.
That's why I made the comparison to Prager. He's generally correct about most things and, I suspect, rather more "radical" on certain issues than he's allowed to admit to on YouTube, but he still has his blind spots - one or two of which seem to be pretty glaring, given how perceptive he is otherwise.

@woodsmoke I agree with just about everything he said in there, but I agree with you that he let the wife off the hook too easily
The woman even asked "where did I go wrong?" or something like that, which is rare in a woman
He had never struck me as gynocentric before this. Odd

Actually, scratch that, I remembered a decent-ish example from relatively recently.
To be sure, the behavior exhibited by the guy in the video is utterly pathetic, but it's the way Carl simply excoriates him without any shred of compassion while simultaneously beatifying "his poor wife" - who, in the news story, is referred to as his "human partner."
They can both be wrong, but Carl simply won't hear of it because there's not video evidence of the woman misbehaving, and his wife isn't like that so obviously this woman wouldn't be either.

I wonder sometimes how much of his "don't rock the boat" attitude stems from not wanting to get demonetized on YouTube again, and whether he may express more radical opinions offline.
Possibly/probably wishful thinking on my part, I'll admit. I just have a hard time accepting someone as intelligent and perceptive as he is can't see the forest for the foreign invasion ushered in and defended by his own traitorous government happily working to see their own people subjugated and replaced "trees."
