Welcome to the 5th Gen Warfare Tribe.
Given that we are experiencing rapid changes in our culture, it made sense to have a place to track the populist movements / battles as they occur, and not necessarily under the banner of politics.
For instance, Gamergate, Occupy Wallstreet, Maga Movement, and now the Wallstreet bets have all been "battles" with something in common: They cross political lines and share a common, populist root.
Here we can talk about the greater culture war and discuss the big picture for players and actions.
@Typo-MAGAshiv Somehow posted that early but you get the gist.
Failure to comply by these tenets is blasphemy and may cost you your good character and career.
Western liberalism is a religion make no mistake.
This is another tenet of the woke agenda that riles me up:
Pregnant women's brains shed grey matter to prime them for motherhood, study suggests
This is an objective, scientific study, reporting on findings.
Yet, look at how the article is written and how it is framed. They have to frame it for the sensibilities of the woke agenda.
I'm not claiming whether this is good or bad, personally I find it a very interesting scientific discovery. And probably more research into why this happens and what it means is needed.
But the immediate framing towards the woke agenda is troubling.
I've been seeing this more and more across the world of academia. Studies, debates etc. must be titled towards the woke agenda. They cannot possibly offend.
And it makes you wonder what that means for objective science.
I was speaking with someone the other day about a speaker being banned from a university for some woke reason, and why that's good because hate or something.
I pointed out that under the same logic, Charles Darwin should have been de-platformed for his theory of evolution. Because it was blasphemous, offensive and a form of hate.
Read MoreThose billionaires you mention who argued for systemic change conveniently wanted systemic change that wouldn't materially impact them but would impact those trying to get to their level.
Exactly that.
1) they're picking up the ladder behind them. Fuck that.
2) under our current income tax system, only income and a few other things are taxed. It's easy enough for the truly wealthy to hire accountants and attorneys to help them dodge taxes and take advantage of loopholes, while those of us who work for a living just keep getting more and more of our earnings raped from us.
my solution:
The FairTax, as proposed years ago (closer to decades ago now) by Congressman John Linder of Georgia and a Democrat from Minnesota whose name escapes me. It was a bipartisan proposal to scrap all the federal taxes we currently have (and get rid of the IRS!), and replace them with a national retail sales tax.
Instead of taxing production, we would tax consumption.
And not everyone has income, which means those who don't (or just don't report it), also don't pay income tax.
But everyone buys retail! From the wealthy trust fund babies who have never worked a job, to drug dealers who have never reported or paid a dime, to tourists just here temporarily.

@Typo-MAGAshiv Liberalism is the new religion of the western elite. It comes with tenets like:
- All humans are equal and we must work to make it so.
- You can identify as you like.
- Hurty feelings trump reality.
- Men have the original sin of high testosterone and a penis. They must live a life of apology and service to expiate this.
- Women are strong.
- Men crying is good.
- Homosexuality is unavoidable its just your nature (clashes with tenet 2 but never mind).
- If the answer is war the question is dumb.
@Vermillion-Rx especially when discussing actions vs. consequences rather than moralizing and preaching.
@Vermillion-Rx major apples and oranges. See my reply here.
