Here we can talk about the greater culture war and discuss the big picture for players and actions.

It is - And i dont claim to know anything about US politics. But it's a trick. A clever one.
I don’t know if you have the "party whip" in the US - i.e. you vote against the party line, you get penalised.
In the UK you are part of a party. And that party will try to make you vote their way. This is the "party whip". As a member of parliament, you can vote any way you like (by law) but your party can also "withdraw the whip" and kick you out the party - reducing your chances of election.
I see many Dem there either cowering to the party whip - OR - having a constituency that is mostly migrants. And so they have to bow down.
Ironically these leftists have now suffered the "I voted for Leopards, and they ate my face?" angle.
You invited a bunch of muslims into your area and you supported them because you thought they'd vote for you. but SURPRISE they're now voting on racial/ethnic lines! They've formed their own parties and now they're voting for insane shit!
And here we are - illegal immigrants above taxpayers!
